    The word is out. The basher threads, though they are apparently classic to the MI6 awards are getting the axe this year, and maybe for the better! >:D<

    We've got 24 categories. Whenever 0Brady is ready, he can go ahead and open the first two threads for nominations. A member of the mod team can add the polls, and the voting can begin.

    I was thinking to make it an even 26 we could add Best Blu-ray Cover Artist. We covered the posters, but leaving out Blu-rays and all the great art we have on here would be a shame. Thoughts?

    Respectfully I think I'd make a pretty good nominee for Biggest Craig Fan. And if you're keeping the bashing threads defintaly put me down for biggest Brosnan basher. I detest the man. ;)

    I figure we'll move on with the nominations while the Connery and Lazenby categories remain open for those who want to state their case. Without further ado, categories for Biggest Moore and Dalton fan will rise to gather many a nominee.

    By the end Sunday I'm calling it good for nominations in the Biggest Fan for each of the Bond actors, so anyone who still feels they should be nominated make your presence known because time is fast running out. I'll start two more nomination threads.

    May a suggestion... a category for the Biggest Bond Vehicle Lover.

    I know that after this there won't be enough room for Vesper and my ego in an elevator, but I nominate myself to biggest Bond music fan because I opened a thread about playing the Bond music and I was the only one who declare to do that!
    I also consider myself a big Bond literary fan, but I don't know how is the competition in that matter.

    This isn't a thread for crowning yourself a winner, especially if your only reason is because you started a damn thread. There are many more deserving people on here, like @Dimi, who's love for John Barry has no bounds. It takes a love for the source material or subject of the category to even be nominated. Please everyone, if you feel you should be nominated state your case in a polite manner and speak as to why you should be nominated, but give actual reasons why, and not because you were the first one to think to start a thread here. You must consider that this isn't a popularity contest, and there can be bigger fans than you at certain things.

    The thing is that I saw people nominating themselves, I think I express my reason while stating that I play some of Bond music, and I though I was expressing myself politely, but sorry anyway, I see my comand of the English language is not as good as I've assumed.
    I don't pretend to win anything, I wrote for fun sake, that's all.

    It just came off as smug, and if I took your intention wrong I am equally sorry. But, like I said, this is a thread for updates and answering questions about the awards, and not for nominating yourself, as many others have seemed to have forgotten. No harm done mate. ;)
