    I was just wondering if anybody knew if you could get a dvd copy of the 1954 version of Casino Royale starring Barry Nelson anywhere? Thanks, I've never seen it so i wanted to try and add it to my collection.

    It was on Netflix streaming for a while. Not sure if that's still the case. It was part of a television series. I'll check tonight and follow up here.

    It was featured as a bonus on one of the CR67 DVD releases a while ago.

    Excellent, thanks DarthDimi i will have a look on the internet now to see if i can find a CR67 DVD release with it as an extra.

    It's the region 1 DVD release only but it is there as an extra.

    It's also on YouTube, if you wanted to view it there.

    Thanks for all the help, i've found it on Amazon on the region 1 dvd CR67 release but unfrotunately i haven't got a multi region dvd player. so i think i will view it on youtube just so i can see it. I noticed that CR67 is coming out on bluray in the uk in august so maybe it will be an extra on that? hopefully. Thanks again.

    I hold out hope, 2014, the 60th anniversary of the film, may net us a proper, intact, DVD release for the first time. Perfect time, too, if Bond 24 is also released that year.

    Thanks Samuel001 for providing the link to the YouTube upload of CR54. I must confess I have always known about it but never had yet seen it. I have just watched act 1 and have to say am very pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the acting and production and I've very much enjoyed it so far.

    i enjoyed it so much i have ordered a vhs copy from the U.S it says its the full version too. hopefully we will get a nice dvd copy sometime.

    I read somewhere they sold this version in the US at K-Mart for $1 some years ago. You should say there are plenty around then but if you look on E-Bay etc. you can only find them at $60 or more. I also hope the release this once....
