2,000 steelbooks per film....worldwide :-).
I was checking some classic vintage posters from the 1960's
Many US One sheet posters were printed in a circulation of 400 pieces. For instance the "Thunderball" US One-Sheet had 372 (limited) copies. Now the most beautiful looking pieces are like $3,195. And that's 50 years later.
Given the fact that Earth's population has increased considerably since 1965, I reckon these steelbooks will become very expensive over time. The "Goldfinger" steelbook I have -released last year- was also limited to 2000 steelbooks.
Practically half price in US and they have QoS and Skyfall. Stupid decision by EON / studios to not sell them in UK
Steelbooks are always region-free. And the steelbooks from SF and QOS can be easily bought/pre-ordered via German webshops later this month:

The German ones have German removable stickers on them.
I checked all Bond steelbooks, and those are all region free (A, B & C)
Apologies, I thought you meant steelbooks in general!

I think there should release this bonus disc in a new QOS 2 disc release. Besides that disc and booklet i doubt or people have intrest in cheap looking 3 keepcases where 2 of them include 10 discs.
example of 10 disc keepcase.
Besides this who going at Spectre in this keepcases if it have it his own keepcase. So better have named third keepcase 2006-2012.
Congratulations! And may I commend you on such fine taste in bond! I too am a steelbook virgin, though I hope this to change when SPECTRE gets released on BD.
And indeed, first I recommend you to buy these, before the September 15th flooding of steelbooks ;-):
Man I can't find that Casino Royale Steelbook anywhere!
Just found all 9 James Bond steelbooks from MediaMarkt.de. They are being sold there as "MediaMarkt Exclusives":
http://www.mediamarkt.de/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/MultiChannelSearch?storeId=48353&langId=-3&searchProfile=onlineshop&channel=mmdede&searchParams=/Search.ff?query=james+bond+steelbook&channel=mmdede&path=&query=james+bond
As you can see, in Germany they are €17,99 each. Which is almost €7 cheaper (!!) as compared to Zavvi.com (UK, €24,85 each)! And in Germany you can also buy "Quantum Of Solace" and "Skyfall". Look what you are saving:
"Zavvi Exclusive" set of 7 steelbooks:
- €173,65
"MediaMarkt Exclusive" set of 7 steelbooks:
- €127,92 (including €1,99 package costs)
You're saving a whopping €45,73!
If you buy all 9 "MediaMarkt Exclusive" steelbooks you pay:
- €163,90 (including €1,99 package costs)
Advantage: You'll be saving a lot of money. Secondly, the sticker mentions that for each steelbook "New Bonus Material is Online Available". Also, with the German MediaMarkt steelbooks you can remove all stickers and the discs inside are, like with Zavvi, region-free (A, B & C)
Also, the more exclusive "Goldfinger" steelbook can be bought there as well, for €20,99:
Disadvantage: You can buy the steelbooks from MediaMarkt.de only if you live in Germany. Luckily, in my case, I have a good friend who lives in Oldenburg and who can help me out ;-). Also, via MediaMarkt.de it is not yet possible to pre-order yet. Just be patient....
Yeah, but for European residents that $120 (€110,81 with current exchange rate) will be more expensive once all overseas package/postal costs will be included. Unless.....you are willing to send the entire 9-piece-set to me with a total of $10 postal/package costs ;-)? I don't know....any good friend from the USA.
Well, we can see that the Dollar is the nicest currency here, followed by the Euro :-P. But the Pound...
We're used to it. We pay through the arse for everything here, so its par for the course.
You could have gotten the Euro though :-P.

These are very nice looking! I just accidentally picked up Psycho on Blu-Ray (steelbook) for $9. I didn't realise.
I recently bought this one here at FNAC (Big media shop in Spain):
