If not, it should be! I'd like to see Everything Or Nothing released here in the States solo, too. I only own it on iTunes.
  • Only 6 more days and then the 9 steelbooks will be shipped. Yippyaaayeeee

Just picked up the Goldfinger steelbook (sealed!) for 12 quid on Ebay. Bargain!

The new 007 steel books and box sets are out today.

Here's hoping the two SPECTRE featurettes (The Story So Far and The Shadow of SPECTRE) make their way online soon...they aren't on the discs btw it seems, it's online access.

Yes!! Can't wait!! My German friend Klaus keeps me updated once he receives all 9 steelbooks. Then he sends them to me :-).

By the way, the featurettes "The Story So Far" and "The Shadow of SPECTRE" are available online for the buyers of those steelbooks ("Neuem Bonusmaterial Online Verfügbar"). The German stickers on the steelbooks mention that. So good news no? ;-):

But where can you get them in Germany?? Amazon doesn't have it and I can't find any German online stores that have them, very strange. Maybe those German version will only be released at a much later time??

EDIT sorry found them, apparently they are only selling at Mediamarkt (exclusively) which I find rather stupid. One could think they don't want to make money with that release.

If I cave, I have to pick up at least the QoS steelbook. That might be my favorite shot from the titles sequence and would look incredible as a steel.

I'm sure I'll rethink buying the three Craig films once I see them in person at Best Buy
  • someone please confirm: the QOS steelbook bluray is the same bluray from 2008, with the trailers in the beginning? And also the GE steelbook bluray have the same bad restoration as the one from 50 boxset?

Picking up Roger Moore vol. 1 at Target as it has digital copies and an exclusive 7 classic Bond songs that I already own most likely. Didn't get the steel books at Best Buy as they didn't specifically say they have the new featurettes on the individual releases. Can anyone verify if the steel books have the new spectre themed features? And if Casino Royale also does not include the Hancock and other superfluous non Bond trailers?
  • I can't get enough of this beautiful High-res-picture! Today, September 15th, all pre-ordered "SPECTRE"-steelbooks are being shipped across the globe :-D! I hope I have it fairly early this week!

  • All of the new steelbook, box sets, and actor sets are all the same as previous just with new covers. The SPECTRE features are 2 videos, 10m and 8m. They really aren't worth buying the set just for them. They will hit on YouTube at some point soon I would assume.

The steelbook will be must-have's though. Just look at the cover designs. Beautiful.

Wonderful!!! I think they look great with the four steelbooks I already have, especially the one from "Goldfinger" and "GoldenEye"!

I do see that none of those nine new steelbooks have embossed fonts, like the rare "Goldfinger" and "GoldenEye" steelbook. So in my honest opinion, thos will become a bit more precious in the future.

Anyway, I'm pretty certain "SPECTRE" will now appear in steelbook too. What a great collection we will have then @hthomas20 ;-).

But such a pity @hthomas20 that your "Skyfall" steelbook has arrived with some damage in the corner :-(! How did that happen???

Very nice! I sit out on this one. I really wanted these, but I just couldn't spend the extra money on it.

They all have. All 9 steelbooks have a "SPECTRE" sticker with a code that you can use for downloading all the new two featureless "Daniel Craig Story So Far" and "SPECTRE history". See the previous page 8 of this topic.

I have not ordered the Steelbooks because I haven't got the money. Would you please post the SPECTRE featurettes on YouTube?

I'm in New Zealand and decided to upgrade my collection to blu-rays and steelbooks, GoldenEye just arrived and that works fine in my blu-ray player, im just waiting for Goldfinger and the "Spectre nine" to turn up from different parts of the globe, so I think they will work OK.. It's all expensive but my James Bond purchases this year is better than the gay cruise I was going to spend my money on, and a lot more enjoyable in the long term.

I bought the steelbooks today, the "German" version, although I think there's no difference at all except for the Blu-ray discs.

    They are region-free.

Steelbooks from Germany, USA, UK.....they are all exactly the same. The only difference is the German-language stickers on the steelbooks that are being bought in Germany. Those German stickers you can easily remove.

Not too thrilled that the Spectre content is a download and not on the disc itself. Also not happy that the digital copies are non-iTunes. Did they cram all that Casino Royale special feature content on the same disc as the movie, or is it a two disc set as before?

    Thanks for the info, Gustav!

Yes, the Spectre features are not on the disc, they are lazy twats, a nuisance!

Sony boycotts Apple and they have their own crap system that doesn't really work. Those digital versions are useless imo and you need special software to install etc. Crap crap crap. An even bigger nuisance.
  • I shall be honest. I bought these steelbooks solely for the sake of graphical design. For all that extra stuff you should buy the entire box set. Those steelbooks I bought because of the wonderful cover designs. Something.I've been praying for for years.

That looks like the Dutch/UK/European edition. The USA edition is black.
