Probably between the current arc and the february issue. So between issues 5 and 6 is my best guess.

OK, I hated the origin angle ,butthis seems to make sense and honour Fleming's creation. I think I'll order them. Liked the 'train to catch', pretty good short story.

Regarding a train to catch - rookie mistake on the first panel:

Great news! Solstice is still the best story of the current crop of comics. And that's saying a lot!

Is everyone ready for Oddjob #2 tomorrow?

    https://www.newsarama.com/43182-oddjob-steals-the-scene-in-james-bond-007-2-preview.html

All we need is a LALD and MR announcement, and Dynamite would have all their goals!

Robinson had an idea planned for a Felix trilogy. It only needs a greenlight.

I trust Dynamite Comics right now. They have great rereadable work. If we're lucky, they'll extend their contract with IFP.

10, 11, 12 ? How many issues there will be in this comics ? So another question for who have read it so far : Origin is a big long story, or each issues is a standalone story ?

It's a series of arcs. Issues 1 and 2 showec Bond get his calling and his training, issues 3, 4 and 5 saw his first mission, issue 6 shows another, standalone, mission, like "A Train to Catch". Issue 7 starts another arc.

That doesn t look too bad. Is it set in contemporary time?

Yes. Although, the Fleming stories already happened in this contemporary timeline.

EDIT: On second thoughts, perhaps not.
Just finished Oddjob #2, and it clearly states that the original Oddjob (with Harold Sakata's likeness) was an assassin from thirty years ago. This Oddjob is a new one, very likely to be a successor.

I have a feeling the real Oddjob will also appear, albeit as an old man. Perhaps he was a sensei or a sifu for the enemy spy organization who trained this new Oddjob, given how their moves are apparently 100% the same.

I know I say this every time a new one comes out, but I want a complete set of prints of the propaganda poster-style covers. They're witty and stylish. (Those ones are Bob Q, I think?)
