"Vargr" is published in france by Delcourt. Saw the hardcover at my favourite comic book store today.

That is such a great cover. Absolutely love it! (Especially with the Fleming scar)

    I finally read #10 and Hammerhead #1. Wow I loved Hammerhead #1
...and thanks to pronouns my other fear has lessened. I didn't like the torture scene at all. Extremely out of character in my opinion. Bond could have just as easily let the guy bleed out back at the trains to obtain the same info. Or threaten to let bleed out. I'm still a fan of Eidolon and the last part of the book at the safe house redeemed the issue.

JAMES BOND #11 is delayed from Nov. 2 to Nov. 9, according to the Comixology release dates. It's set to come out on the same day as HAMMERHEAD #2.

I have a feeling Benjamin Percy is staying for at least two story arcs instead of just one. His recent interview and the mentioning of "the first six issues" made me think of that...

Is Ellis staying for another volume or is Eidolon his last?

His last planned. Percy picking up with series this coming year.

Ellis is set to depart after Eidolon wraps. But, he's not ruling out a future involvement.

Reading Percy's interviews I'm expecting a more cinematic take. Hope the literary character stays in tact though.

I'm sure I'll enjoy it all the same.

Yes reading Ellis easy to see Craig but even with Hammerhead Pierce easily pops in my head. Turn up your best Arnold and drift off I say :D

I guess discussing Hammerhead is out of the question because of spoilers?

You guys should have @Murdock read all the recent Bond comics and edit together a score using Barry and Arnold's compositions that plays over and accentuates all the scenes throughout each issue. Like an audio book but with music.

:-? ...not bad. Of course we'll need some sort of bait.

Well, he's got a working shrink ray he built himself so we could steal it from him and threaten to use it on him if he doesn't seem interested in taking our request.

Or we could get him a position on the Starship Enterprise to entice him to do it.

I prefer the latter, as I'm not the threatening kind. Do you happen to know anyone who may know a James T. Kirk?

I always listen to Bond score when I read one of the books or comics the first time and just skip to tracks that seem appropriate. Anyone else?

    Can we do both?

....and yup @JET007 I do the same. I usually film it in my mind. I'll cast and edit and expand ...and figure which cinematographer I want ..which editor etc.

Yes I need a life :( ...but it's a fun exercise for me.

@ClarkDevlin and I did a lot of preproduction on Vargr lol.

The comics themselves would be more than enough bait for me. I can't find them anywhere down here! :O

    Yes, we did! :D

And I kind of started seeing Tom Hiddleston in the role, based on the drawings of Jason Masters.

@Murdock you can't find them? You need to. I'd like to know what you think.

I've heard they've done quite well which is reassuring.

And yes I enjoyed that @ClarkDevlin. I've played around with Eidolon but it's been a bit harder to cast. Hammerhead is too early.

For the Ellis/Masters Bond illustration and characterization, I can safely say I see a dark-haired Tom Hiddleston in the role.

For Hammerhead, so far, it's TWINE era Pierce Brosnan. :D
