So, it doesn't sound like Moneypenny is worth the $5 then? Doesn't seem like anyone is thrilled about it here.

No. But I am more thrilled about the upcoming adaptation of "Casino Royale". This is the most stunning and great bit of Bond before Bond 25 premieres, as far as I'm concerned. We'll be witnessing for the very first time a comic book adaptation from Ian Fleming's novels in color. And we can directly compare that with the actual movies and storyboards!

I'm looking forward to it, too. Hope it meets, no, exceeds expectations!

Close to the original date, then. It was originally going to be published on November 22, last year.

    Thanks, @ggl007! :D

Boy, that sure does take me back to Shattered Helix.

Although, I do despise it that they made Bond wear a belt with a tuxedo. That's an unforgivable mistake!

    Nope. Definitely not.

But, I'm overjoyed that Luca Casalanguida is doing the interior art.

Hmm...don't know what to make of the plot from the cover. Bond in a shoot-out in a Body World Exhibit? ;) Great to see Casalanguida doing pencils again, though.

It's apparently about Bond talking about his broken bones with each of them related to different set of missions, conversing with his medical examining doctor. I'm guessing he's sent to the Shrublands.

    Awesome that Casalanguida is back!
It's a bit sad though that Casino Royale got delayed, i looked at different places on the net and I can still at least find 4 different Release dates. They should sort that out.

I was at a comic store in Times Square yesterday and he said they have no notification from Dynamite about upcoming Bond releases for the next two weeks so i guess CR will probably be released in November

ComiXology states that it's coming out on Nov. 1, and that site is the only source I buy into. So, for now, the actual release date to my belief is the one that ComiXology offered.

According to last week's Comic Shop News, Bond's cover story reveals that the War Years is aimed for Spring 2018.

Here's the quote from Dynamite editor Joseph Rybandt:
"We're doing a mix of both [standalones and longer series]--and it was always planned as a mix.We had some things in our schedule that took our main series offline for a bit, but we're coming back strong in 2018 with a new miniseries in January [The Body] and then our most ambition Bond project in late spring or early summer [War Years]."

Not really. It's something apparently not reported online because this weekly comics magazine called Comic Shop News doesn't publish anything online and they have exclusive passes from what I understand.

I wouldn't have known about it without my friend directing me to it.

In that case i am glad we got to hear it at all :)
The end of 2017 got a little bit too quit for my taste regarding Bond comics so i am beyond happy that they have bigger plans for 2018

Very nice, November looks so much better than anticipated!
Though it's still very frustrating to me that Dynamite cocked up the initial Release date for CR, as i will be in Karlovy Vary end of October which was Montenegro in Casino Royale (2006). And i'll be staying in the same Hotel, so you literally could have not had a better time and place to read that book...

@00Agent, since the graphic novel, like the source material itself, takes place in the fictional town of Royale-les-eaux in Northern France, you could pick anywhere you like around the area. ;)

I've fallen so far behind on this throughout the last month with work getting in the way. Spending today catching up on Kill Count #2 & #3 and the Moneypenny one shot.
I think I'll be up to speed following these.
