Only one thing coming in january, at least according to the sollicitations at Dynamite : The Body. Here's the sollicitation :

    "JAMES BOND: THE BODY #1
    Price: $3.99
    Rating: Teen +
    Cover A: Luca Casalanguida
    Writer: Ales Kot
    Art: Luca Casalanguida
    Genre: Action
    Page Count: 32 Pages
    ON SALE DATE: 1/17
    PART ONE - THE BODY
As Bond undergoes a post-mission medical examination, he relays the story of his previous mission to the examiner. Each cut, bruise, and broken bone connected to a specific event of the mission. A connection is made between two people with different purposes: one to save lives, the other to take them.
From writer Ales Kot (Secret Avengers, Zero) comes a James Bond story that explores the secret agent in ways that we have yet to experience!"

Looks interesting. And Flemingesque. Remember the examination in Shrublands in TB ? When Bond was diagnosed with a displaced vertaebra, and thought it was probably because he had to jump from the Orient Express in an unseen (except in Pearson's book) adventure ?

i am certainly intrigued. It's doesn't seem to be the usual formulaic Bond story, but i think there could still be a lot of Fleming in it.
Did you know that one of Flemings initial titles for his Dr. No Novels was "The Wounded Man" because of all the brusies and injuries that Bond picks up at the end in Dr No's lair?
He was aware at that point that Bond took so much beatings in his short literally life that a normal man probably would have died.

KILL CHAIN #4... MY GOD...!! :O

@00Agent, your first impressions. Now! :D
Right! Once again, we get a side of Felix Leiter that's faithful and accurate to his persona as opposed to the one we've seen in Percy's Black Box, which was nothing short of abysmal and an insult to the character. Despite Leiter capturing Bond when he was framed for an act of crime he didn't commit against the CIA and the NATO, Felix believed him and acted against orders to free him and let go of him, then lie to the rest of the team. I love that these two are friends/brothers above all else.

I can't wait for the next issue!

Don't you mean Kill Chain?! :D
It was good! Nothing Bad to say really, just that it was a bit slower and more Exposition heavy than the first 3, but i still enjoyed it very much. The secens between Felix and Bond were the best. I don't have any Highlights other than the set up for issue #5 really, maybe i have to read it once more. How about you?

I am a bit confused by all the different Felix Leiters we got so far that i don't even know which one is more authentic :D but i like this one the most, he did the admirable thing here. You sense that there is camaraderie and history between them but they are still loyal to their respective countries first.

Of course. Although, I find it rather confusing that Felix is with the CIA than Pinkerton's. Whatever happened in Felix Leiter must have change the course of his career, with the addition of his seeming of being stronger and more capable than he was in his own entry or Black Box. Perhaps, they did adjust him with all these prosthetic limbs to meet the ends of his skills. Diggle's Leiter is actually the closest we've got to a faithful Felix Leiter, with Benjamin Percy's being the worst.

True, or maybe the stories are not as interconnected as we might think. I don't mind that if it means that Diggle has the freedom to do whatever he wants with the characters, because he seems to be always doing the right thing.

Wish we had seen more of Cavalier in this issue, but oh well...
I'm sure we will in #5.
Thankfully next month we will be drowning in Bond comics :)
Which one are you looking forward to the most?!

Oh I think Bond will be going for Cavalier's help in #5. Rest assured. ;)

I'm looking forward to get my hands on Kill Chain #5 the most. Then, Casino Royale. Was Solstice also scheduled to come out next month?

For me it's a toss up between Solstice and Kill Chain, and then CR but i feel like I am underestimating Casino Royale here, that one might end up being trully amazing

I'm not underestimating Royale, it's just that I already know the story, so it's the least interesting one. Alas, I'm not exactly a big fan of the artwork. It seems... pedestrian.

it might still hold a lot of suprises, despite being an adaption. i feel like i haven't seen enough of the artwork yet to judge. either way i am very much looking forward to all of them

I don't know, really, but I seem more interested in the original stories than the adaptations.

Same with me, but i am also very curious about the look and feel of CR. I just want an authentic Bond Expirience that makes me loose myself in that world for a couple hours and if CR can get me there, thats all i am asking for.
It also helps a lot that CR will be a completed graphic novel instead of just single issues.

Indeed. I've a feeling it's going to be postponed a couple of more times until something comes out of Dynamite's mouth.

this is getting on my nerves, also because Black Box got delayed too.
I'd rather they delay it for a month and sort out whatever it is they need to sort out, and then stick to that final release date instead of delaying it week by week

I remember how much VARGR and Eidolon frustrated us with the constant changing dates.

true, that even went on from issue to issue,
and we only had one series running at a time
i might have become a bit spoiled since then :)

That's why we need at least three storylines running at the same time. :D
