It’s sad that Casalanguida won’t be doing the next one and they gave the job to Fuso, whose work on Service I didn’t like in the slightest.

The fourth issue for The Body will be drawn by Eoin Marron.

I'm not familiar with his work, but I do hope it's not as mediocre and confusing like Antonio Fuso and Rapha Lobosco's efforts.

Cover art - of course - is by the great Luca Casalanguida.

    Here's the premise:
On the run from a lethal antagonist, weaponless and wounded deep in the Highlands, Bond finds solace with a woman who exchanged her job as a doctor and a life in the city for a cottage and solitary life of a writer. Can Bond find a quiet peace unlike he has known before or will his life choices catch up with him?

Very nice, i also read a comment from Marron, indicating what i already suspected, that The Body is episodic instead of having a connected storyline.

Here's the solicit for our issue courtesy of @bleedingcool. Your dad's Bond this is not.
And while each issue is standalone, I urge everyone to check out #1 (drawn by series cover artist @lucacasalanguida), which came out last week to stellar reviews across the board

That first issue was a lot of fun. Short, but entertaining. Wish Casalanguida was drawing the whole thing!

    Agreed.

I'm not excited for either Lobosco's or Fuso's efforts as both were mediocre at best.

Which prior work was Fuso's? I don't recall.

No worries in the slightest, old boy. It's no surprise, honestly. ;)

I still think it's bound to come out on 28th of May this year.

I usually wait for the hardcover to come out and combine all the issues, but I think I'll be getting The Body issue for issue. Didn't love the Hulk-esque appearance of Bond in Issue #1, not very Fleming by my measure, but I really like the independent-stories aspect this run is taking.

Pitch image from next months M that didn't make the final cut.

But it is clearly hinting at a story about his time in the Military:

Wow. As an Irishman I'd be very interested to see an M series based on his days in Belfast.

CR delayed again, but this time, there is a preview in Amazon (!) and the book seems finish and I think there are few chance that it will be delayed again...

Well, i wish i could believe it will be released in March, but for the last two years now i have been so used to it being delayed again and again, that i will probably be in shock and denial when it's actually in stores...

It will certainly be of great interest to those in Northern Ireland, such as myself. I'll be buying a copy for sure!
