Most violent James Bond movie?

What do you think are some of the most violent in the series? Remember, this could mean how much violence is going on or how graphic the violence is. Personally, I would probably put Quantum of Solace at #1. Some runners up would be License to Kill, Goldeneye, Die another Day, and actually, Thunderball. Theres a lot of neck breaking, innocent people dying, and some of the underwater battles are actually pretty graphic and contain throat slitting and other violent deeds. anyway guys im just curious on your opinions so yeah.

LTK maybe but the effects too cheesy so for realistic violence goes to QoS

Very. And I feel DN should be in there as well.

FRWL is no walk in the park either, in terms of violence- Kerim is stabbed in the back (though not shown), the Bulgarian spy in the mosque is struck down by Red Grant with a nasty neck chop, several Bulgarian hitmen are shot dead in the gypsy camp shootout, Krilencu is sniped in the back, two helicopter pilots die in the SPECTRE helicopter explosion, many SPECTRE agents are lit on fire at the end of the boat chase, and as far as the fight between Bond and Red Grant is concerned, well, that's an example all its own!

I saw footage of a person getting hit by a train, the body flew apart in all directions and my first thought was that it was a very cheap effect, then I found out it was REAL & shot by an onlooker that assumed the person was going to jump out of the way at the last second, but he ended up filming a suicide... Ewwwww.

Ditto LTK. There's a fair amount of violence in TB as well.

Top 5 violent Bond films -

    LTK
    QoS
    CR
    TB
and, for it's time, DN. I don't think we can overstate the impact of Bond shooting Dent, had on audiences back in 1962.

MR as it has the most violent dead implied and not shot, with the flight of Corinne through the woods followed by the dogs. It always leaves me with goosebumps.

It has got a lot of casual dead in the first part of the movie and the most serious almost dead of 007 in the G-simulator.

    I think Tim Dalton summed up perfectly (and I'm severely paraphrasing here!);

"In 1962, it was still the 1950's, and that scene shocked the audience, into the 60's"

or something along those lines. ;-)

LTK of course... that film stands out by a wide margin as the most graphically violent Bond film.
The general public didn't take to it like most of the rest; it's a classic.

Licence to Kill is definitely the most graphic. That's not a compliment. Luckily the action sequences are top of the line.

Licence to Kill is absolutely #1. The shark bits and the finale are definitely the most violent and gruesome bits in a bond film.

I also thought that LTK's violent scenes were an asset to the film, rather than a hindrance. Krest's demise, the shark scenes, Lupe's whipping, Dario's demise, Sanchez on fire etc. are all fantastic scenes and help to make LTK my number four.
