Had a bad day at work? Watch a bit of Bond!

After a challenging day at work I was thinking to myself on the way home what should I watch to cheer me up. I know, I'll stick Casino Royale on. That always does the trick! What Bond film do others like to watch to banish those work place blues! It doesn't even have to be your all time favourite (although CR does happen to be mine) just to have something uplifting about it.

    Moonraker.
Definitely Moonraker. Always makes me feel good. Pure escapism - and the score sends me to heaven. Best therapy against all bad karma.

I have 4 for the best pick me up therapy for me!

    The Spy Who Loved Me
    Tomorrow Never Dies
    For Your Eyes Only
    The Living Daylights

Each give me great locations, a wonderful Bond, fun, romance, and a story I want to jump into and live. Perfect.

SF I never tire of watching SF. Even though I rate CR higher in quality, I will usually pop the later film in.

I do love Skyfall, too. It remains fresh, inspiring, and sure is lovely to look at.

  • Tomorrow Never Dies. Pure action, beautifully photographed, Brosnan in top form, classy, funny, all the best Bond elements, one helluva climax, k.d. lang's "Surrender" to send you out. Couldn't ask for a better way to "unwind after a rough day at the office."

Have to say any of the Bond movies puts a smile back on my face! Especially after a hard or difficult day or week.

Yes, no matter how bad your day was at work, Bond had it worse in that one.

After a bad day at work?

Live and Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me, For Your Eyes Only, Licence to Kill or Goldeneye would suffice.

    Heartily agree.

If you've had a bad day then what can be better than bit of Rogertherapy?

Well, I certainly agree with this. :x One of my favorites.

My Roger therapy usually consists of TSWLM and also the wonderful FYEO.

Surely the only cure for the work blues is a bit of Roger-therapy, either Spy or MR; escapist, fun, with gorgeous locales, entertaining fluff, all starring, at the height of his powers, Sir Rog!!
