ATJ is awful, just so incredibly bland and not right for the role. Highly unlikeable, dude invented the smarm sandwich.
  • Josh O’Connor would be an interesting pick imo. I probably would have laughed it off only having seen some of his older comedic bit parts, but after Challengers I think he could have the necessary charisma to pull it off. He has a naturally sort of goofy innocent look to him, but with the right styling I think he could have a bit of a Hoagie Carmichael look to him. In any case, he’d sort of be an adjacent pick to his fellow big eared Brit I’ve been advocating for (Callum Turner). Would be more of an exciting pick than just picking a model type with a chiseled jaw and brooding look to me anyway.

I don't get a Bond vibe from his appearance - and i don't think a goofy innocent look is appropriate for Bond - but I've not seen his acting so maybe he has potential. It's impossible to know what Barbara Broccoli has in mind (assuming Aaron Taylor-Johnson isn't the main choice). At a wild guess I don't think she'd go for this chap O'Connor but you never know. Daniel Craig was a left field choice so history may repeat itself.
