    That's quite a description! :)) It's not quite Ian Fleming or Raymond Chandler, is it? I've never read the books but the film and I suppose the TV series gave me the impression of him being idealised.

    Until he met his wife, William Munny was probably one of the most vicious, reprehensible characters Eastwood ever portrayed; he somewhat blurred the line between hero and anti hero.

    I think the hero/antihero debate deserves its own thread.

    On a side note, the most typical modern antihero imo would be Peter Venkman. Maybe not the other Ghostbusters, but him definitely. He's little more than a crook.
