The dreamboat Turner to become Bond or rather Bond will become Turner ! :))
Indeed, only 3cm short of Bond described by Fleming. Taller than Craig, obviously. Also, he looks optically taller due to his frame. Not a problem there.
Well that's easy then, as he is 6ft tall. Just look at the charming handsome devil:

To me he lacks 'star quality' though. He's also Irish which is another minus. He's just ok and looks the part.

However, that's just the look. He could make up for it with his acting I suppose, although I'm a novice when it comes to his back catalogue.
Yes. In my opinion. Yes, I would. I would compliment Pierce on GE and then comment on how unfortunate the script writers and Directors made the rest of his tenure, the low point of the franchise (quality wise).
Predictable as in the quintessential look I take. He looks like a classically handsome Bond type, in a way. After ten years of looking at a Russian bouncer/kgb agent I say it's a welcome change. But of course, to each his own.
To me only Goldeneye was his only really good film, the rest not so much. Pierce did what he could, but bad scripts and directors let him down overall. Bond needed to be reinvented again and just like he did with Goldeneye, Campbell saved the day with CR.

He needs to be 'plugged' as no-one outside of the UK has heard of him. Unless they stream the BBC that is. I totally agree that he looks the part. But his acting and 'star appeal' is, well a bit....... 'yawn'.

I think Turner wouldn't be a bad choice.

My ex is a makeup artist and she worked on one of the actresses that starred in SP who told her that Craig had a bit of a hissy fit because he didn't want her too close to him as she was taller than him, making him look decidedly short.
If that sort of grievance is happening from your lead actor, it would be best for all to cast someone who fits the intended general description of the character in the first place.
Somehow Craig looks shorter than 178cm to me... As for Craig, he's kind of a douche in interviews and behaves like a prima donna more often than not. The things he said about the character of James Bond are unforgivable quite frankly and his "contract" should be terminated with immediate effect accordingly. IMHO.
