He would be AWESOME!
He's a brilliant actor (thespian)
Has a good height
Familiar with action scenes
Isn't a super star actor
Young enough to accommodate 3 year intervals for Bond movies (should that be the norm) and still get a generous amount if Bond movies from him
Can attract the same sort of talent that Craig can
Now that being said, watch EoN go and cast the man as the villain for Bond 24 *rolls eyes*

His body shape reminds me a little of Sean Connery's. Both have broad shoulders and that 'tall height' look about them. I think I prefer his hairstyle to Craig's short look in his Bond films. Craig needs one decent Bond hairstyle - a hairstyle that actually feels Bondian - before he leaves the role!
As Cavill is playing Solo and Superman - Superman Solo! :P - I think he won't get a chance to play 007 although I think that's the one role he really wants!
They are still very, very young, so I am suggesting them carefully.

I think that Jonathan Rhys Meyers would be good but he's 36 now. He'll probably be too old as well by the time Craig steps down.

Damn, everyone seems to be too old!
That is why I brought forward two very young actors. Right now they are too young and not experienced enough, but if they gain maturity and if they show themselves as capable actors, they might have a chance. And they are just unknown enough right now.
Not that I really think that either of these two will be cast anyway but I think that Jonathan Rhys Meyers would be a good Bond. He's a good actor and I've seen him in a number of films. He's very charismatic, suave and cool. One great film he's in is 'Match Point' which is directed by Woody Allen.
As for Gruffard, I'm just going by his looks really. I've only heard him deliver a few lines of dialogue.
Someone else brought him up in another thread, but I found a photo of him in a naval uniform and he IS Bond to me now.
Bond 27, 2020?
It's almost uncanny to me.

Which second picture? I can see one of D'Arcy in a naval uniform and the drawing of Fleming's Bond.. I deleted the link to a second picture of D'Arcy I had up.
Here's what they have: http://www.sportsbet.com.au/betting/hollywood?LeftNav
Seems like the bookies really think Idris Elba will be the next Bond at 4 to 1. Though who would you guys put your money on???
I can't see the one of D'Arcy in a naval uniform. Fleming's Bond appears just fine, as is the picture of Jonathan Rhys Meyers @hildebrand_rarity.
And I would think to consider that midget Tom Cruise as Bond mortally wounds the franchise.
I often think people bring forward the same names for Craig's successor they brough for Brosnan's, or even Dalton's.
