If B26 would be out in 2023 I´d expect Craig again ;-).

I'm intrigued by Cillian Murphy for sure. But at 42 years old....

The next Batman actor is going to be fairly young - if the rumours are accurate - and you could make a case Eon copied the success of Batman Begins when they rebooted Casino Royale so they may copy what the Batman franchise is doing and pick a much younger Bond. I think it's unlikely a 40 something actor will get the part but you never know. Tom, you still got a chance! Tom and Pussy Galore:

Hiddle piddle is too eager and has made a mockery of himself, several times. He is just not Bond material. Can't stand the poser, to be honest.

I'm fine if Hiddleston gets it.

I'd rather have Turner in the role. But if Hiddleston gets it, I won't be upset in the slightest. I did campaign for him a couple of years ago. Before I saw Poldark and the Christie show. At least he's not a bruit in a suit and can be suave and Moorian, or Moorish, or Mooredian, or...whatever ;) He nailed it in those Jag adds. Very british. Classy.

Turner is my top choice at the moment ; Hiddleston just doesn’t click at all for me.... although they could do worse.

My feelings exactly. They could do far worse.

I can't see him and not think of that little Hiddlestunt he pulled with Trailer Shift. He lost any and all credibility.

What was that stunt again? Can't seem to remember what it was all about.

Was that all of the stunt, or was there more to it? Just by looking at the photo it could easily have been him losing a bet or similar. :))

That whole Swift/Hiddleston moment in time was some of the biggest cringe I've ever experienced. It essentially killed any interest I had in the prospect of Hiddleston as Bond.

Can definitely understand that! I just wonder what the backstory of that tank top is/was.

It´s perfectly fine to dislike any Actor. But to put up bad memes or complain About a girlfriend is ridiculous.
There are enough bad shots of Craig, or any other popular Actor for that matter.
And do you complain as much About Fukunaga in his early 40s have a gf in her early 20s? What do such Things have to do with acting/Performing capabilities?

I’d like to take the opportunity to apologize to you @talos7 for some of the beastly things I’ve said in the past. I entirely agree with your assessment here. Turner is still my top choice also. :)

If this is about the pic I posted on the previous page, I wasn't complaining as his girlfriend. I posted it because it looked like a tacky publicity stunt. Like people who sell their wedding to a 'gossip magazine'. And even without that, I still thought he was too fey for Bond. The Night Manager didn't convince either.

Turner is top choice here now. Brilliant. Hope EON reads these threads.

I agree. I couldn’t care less if Hiddleston dated Taylor Swift. I’ve seen the Night Manager and that showed me he is a top Bond candidate. I’ve also watched Poldark and Turner is my current second choice.

I've warmed up to both choices, actually. However, I still fear the gap following B25 may be so great that both Turner and Hiddleston would be pushing 60 by the time development begins on B26.

60? Damn! Really hope not! Some of us will be dead and buried then, and a new Z gen actor with no given gender and a disturbing lack of personality or characterisation would take over. An amorphous yet very political correct J. Bond, bald, medium height, medium weight, track suit wearing, non violent, abstinent, asexual, would give us Blandwater, not shaken, not stirred, just Blandwater, the film.

I really do hope this next film kick starts the series for future outings. Only 2 films this past decade was ridiculous. Makes me fear we may just get one in the 2020's.
