Agreed 100%. He has zero screen presence. Very handsome fella, but more wooden than Woody Woodpecker. He's one of those fan choices that's like a greatest hits compilation. I imagine he'd bring nothing to the table. Craig brought gravitas, depth, danger, humanity and a huge kinetic energy to the role. Cavill has never displayed those things in any of his roles. He's Brosnan: Part II.
He was great as "Log" or whatever his name was in Fallout. He could be a good Gustav Graves but that's it.
Yes. I've struggled trying to figure out what Brosnan brought to the role that wasn't already ground covered by one of the previous Bonds (especially Moore). Cavill would be a cardboard cutout of Bond at best.
Craig seems to have possibly opened the doors for Eon to think outside of the box for Bond. Who knows? Maybe they'll completely change Bond's image and find someone with a big 1970's porno mustache?
They should look no further than this guy................my choice for the next James Bond.............
But Brosnan was still lacking in charm compared to Connery or Moore. Cavill was good in The Man From Uncle....but that was a cool, stylish, glossy and shallow affair....the Bond role needs an actor with more than just the look and charm. Aka not Cavill or Brosnan types.
Everyone is entitled to a vote without intimidation.

However, it has to be said, Mr Turner is the popular so far. Only 29 votes cast so far, so if you want to get your vote in please hurry because the vote will close sometime in 2022.
I feel the opposite actually. Babs was adamant on Craig, clearly she wanted change: leftfield Bond. Now we can return to classic Bond, once more.
True, but Connery (who combined it with danger and toughness) was a one off and indeed Moore had charm in spades, in a more gentleman type of way. Indeed, Bond needs the whole package.
No one is intimidating anyone around here, dear @NicNac , apart from the voting there are still different opinions about all of the choices, incl Cavill and Turner ;)
In all seriousness though, I do kind of agree with @BonSimonLeBon_1 about Turner. Maybe he has come along too late, and where he would have been a safe choice back in the day, now Eon may spread the net further afield.
Ha. I wouldn't dare against a mi6 mod. Indeed, in all seriousness, it could go either way. Either further afield or back to original Bond. May the best man win, I'd say.
You are allowed one change @DrClatterhand. Your vote is currently for Jack Lowden so If you want to change to Stevens you can.
+1
I'd choose Dan Stevens, but I think they'll choose Jack Lowden. So, I'll go with Dan Stevens. Thank you.
I find it funny how up to now some of the bookies favourites don't even have a vote, James Norton, Tom Hiddleston and Sam Heughan. I think it speaks volumes
For this type of Bond I’d go with Tom Hiddleston. The Night Manager being my evidence base.
Two characters who resemble Bond to an extent:
I'd recommend The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot
Also, And Then There Were None I can highly recommend
Hiddleston really shined in the Night manager in my opinion

@suavejmf , would you like me to change your vote to Tom Hiddleston?
He does and here he is alongside our "beloved" Mathis, starring as Leonardo da Vinci in the new series 'Leonardo'
No thank you @NicNac I’m sticking with Fassbender please.
