The iguana and the shark are not what I'm looking for in LTK...although the shark isn't far away!

I’ll have a go at electric eels, fighting fish and octopus, and OP is OOO as it’s not a fish?

FRWL Betta or Siamese Fight Fish are seen fighting and then the pussy eats the victor.

OP The octopus is seen latching onto the guys face.

LTK the maggots are thrown into the guard's face.

Therefore FRWL is OOO as the fish doesn't end up eating or going near the face.

I have already a bad conscience: S o many good ideas and very close...but still not what I mean...
Octopus and Blofeld's fishes are indeed part of the scenes I have in mind. But you still don't have the right moment in LTK. What happens after the maggots? And where is the connection?

Still can't figure this one out!

FRWL the fish in the tank are fighting and the dead fish is fed to Blofelds cat.
OP the octopus attaches itself to the goons face when the tank is smashed.
LTK Bond hides under a fish tank to evade gunfire, but a gunshot causes the tank to smash.

So the odd one out is FRWL as a fish tank doesn't smash?

Good one @Benny That's the best guess I think so far.

Sorry @Max_The_Parrot the door was open. ;) Have a nut.
Not very good at these, however I'll try this...

Which is the odd one out between:

    You Only Live Twice
    The Spy Who Loved Me
    The World Is Not Enough

Bond is seen in a submarine in all three. YOLT is the ooo because he doesn't destroy a submarine?

Good guess, and thanks for getting the ball rolling. But it's not what I'm looking for.

They were all made in a year ending in 7 (67, 77, 97); all had subs involved in the plot. Each had Bond wearing his naval uniform. But two out of the three were trying to create WWIII, and one just wanted war between two nations: China and the UK (to obtain media rights in China). OOO is TND?

Sorry @peter,but TND isn't part of this.

MI6-Headquarter isn't in London in YOLT. It is down in the water. In TSWLM it is down in the pyramids (but M is also in London I believe). Only in TWINE Bond is seen in the London HQ. For most of the time they are in Scotland. Hence, TWINE is the ooo?

You're kind of heading in the right direction. Though sadly it's still not the answer I'm looking for.

Sometimes just being in the presence of genius is enough for me! 😝

Quick question as I’m still not quite sure how these work - do we assume these are always of the ‘there’s the same element in every film but one has a twist making it the OOO’ kind, or could it literally be any answer?

I'm going to say maybe a little bit of both. Obviously I know the answer to this, however @goldenswissroyale is certainly on the right path. ;)

All of these films show M outside his/her regular office, but only in TWINE is she also a captive?

I’ll stand on the shoulders of giants and try TSWLM and TWINE - both Bond and M are seen together in both the UK and abroad, whereas YOLT they are together only in a foreign country.

How about Miles M is seen in all three. However in TWINE it is painting form.

@Max_The_Parrot usually they have the same thing in common with a twist.

@Torgeirtrap @Max_The_Parrot and @thedove you’re all getting closer. Though not correct thus far.
You’re on the right train of thought though.

For someone who says you are good at this sort of thing, you seem to be doing a good job of stumping us. :)

    Okay how's this one:

    YOLT briefing on a submarine
TSWLM briefing in a Egyptian ruin
TWINE briefing in a Scottish castle

YOLT is odd one out as it's in modern structure while the other 2 take place on historical ground.

Not what I'm looking for @thedove.
    Sorry.
The location is important, but also one of the people at that location. ;)

Q is present at the briefings locations in TSWLM and TWINE, but not in YOLT, where he meets up with Bond later in the film with "Little Nellie"?

Still no, but once again, in the right ball park.

Start thinking of a location in all three of the films.
And in particular someone at that location and what might be different, the likes of which is not seen in any other film. ;)

Hmm... so the location is a ball park.
