Ah thanks @goldenswissroyale I already had Gotell and Baker in mind but I thought the OOO would be a variation on the appearances so I was looking for someone with four or two appearances and different combinations of characters played, and ended up getting tied up. Your last clue sorted that out. As usual it was a team effort in the end to solve your fiendishly clever puzzle.

I’m not very good at thinking these up, so this should be a little easier on the brain cells.

All 3 films have something in common, but one is still the odd one out.

    MR
    LTK
    TWINE

All feature a female death but only TWINE is it a villain.

It’s nothing to do with deaths.

Last films of Bernard Lee and Robert Brown, both played M. TWINE is the ooo because it is the last film of our favourite Q, Desmond Llewelyn.

MR and TWINE Q appears outside of his lab. LTK he helps Bond in his mission along with being out of his lab. Therefore LTK is OOO

No but once again on the right track!

Q provides a boat for Bond in MR and (sort of in) TWINE, but not in LTK; therefore LTK is the odd one out?

Nothing to do with boats or vehicles, sorry

MR Richard Kiel makes his second appearance as Jaws

LTK David Hedison makes his second appearance as Felix

TWINE Robbie Coltrane as Valentin makes his second appearance

MR is OOO as the one making the appearance had appeared in the previous movie. The other two actors had film(s) between appearances.

All three films feature M outside the office, but only in TWINE is M captured by the villain?

MR and TWINE both feature Moneypenny out of the office. Therefore LTK is OOO as she is only shown in the office.

MR: last appearance of Mr. Llewelyn as Q for the decade.
LTK: last appearance of Mr. Llewelyn as Q for the decade.
TWINE: last appearance of Mr. Llewelyn as Q for the decade, the century, the millennia, and for all time.
    The odd one out.

Oh I love that guess @RichardTheBruce even if it's not correct that's bloody brilliant!

    Hm…This is a tricky one!

All three films feature M outside the office, but only in TWINE does M have a personal connection with the villain?

So the first half is correct, then if you focus just on that aspect and not on anything else like other characters hopefully an odd one out should appear 🤞

M is out of the office in all three. In TWINE and MR he stays in Europe while in LTK he is in America. (I believe it was only Moneypenny and Q in South America in MR??). LTK is the ooo.

    A very unlikely suggestion:
All three films feature M outside the office, and in two of them a lighthouse is seen; the Key West Lighthouse in LTK, and the Maiden's Tower in TWINE (where M is held captive). No lighthouse is seen in MR, so MR is the odd one out?

A second suggestion: Maiden's Tower is also the only islet location of the three, so TWINE is the odd one out?

M is in South America in MR and in North America in LTK. He/she is never in Americs in other movies. M is in Turkey in TWINE but not in America. Hence, TWINE is the ooo.

Everything you need for the answer has already been said, but don’t make it complicated, a simple bit of counting should lead to the prize ... 🤞
