    I think it's this...

    AVTAK Bond is observed wearing sunglasses (which is a gadget)
    TLD Bond is observed wearing sunglasses (no gadget)
    TWINE Bond is observed wearing sunglasses (which is a gadget)

    Therefore TLD is OOO

    Okay different tact...try some of my conch chowder. :)

    In all three films Bond is observed wearing sunglasses. However in TWINE he wears them inside and not out.

    @thedove: your first guess about glasses was almost perfect. I even accept TLD as ooo. The only question remaining is: why did I choose TLD as the third movie?

    Okay then how about this.

    AVTAK and TWINE the sunglasses were provided by Q while in TLD Bond steals them from a vendor. Therefore TLD is OOO

    I’d guess the glasses he uses in TLD have binocular attachments to allow him to see far away, whereas TWINE and AVTAK the glasses allow him to see through things (clothing and darkened windows) therefore TLD OOO?

    If I’m right please pass on to @thedove anyway, he deserves it! 👍

    I need to watch TLD again. I had forgotten the binoculars on the sunglasses. Excellent OOO @goldenswissroyale and thanks @Max_The_Parrot I feel like I got it close the cup and you tapped it in for the win! To use a golf analogy. LOL! :)

    What do all three films have in common but one is slightly different.

    All films feature Bond driving a boat but only in MR does it also go on land.

    All three feature someone being shot from afar - FRWL Kerim kills Krilencu, TMWTGG Scaramanga kills Gibson, MR Bond kills tree assassin.

    MR OOO as Bond does the killing (or TMWTGG as the killer is high up, compared to the others where the victim is high up)

    Unlikely, but I’ve had a go! ☺️

    How about this -
    Grant has a clear shot at Bond in the gypsy camp but kills his would be assassin instead.
    Scaramanga has a clear shot at Bond but kills Gibson instead.
    Tree assassin has a clear shot at Bond but ends up dead instead.

    So two options:
    TMWTGG because in that instance Bond's life wasn't in danger.
    or
    MR because villain was killed before shooting (also the only one using a rifle instead of a gun).

    Hmm, there’s a few tricksy ways this could go now we know we are close.

    How about in all three it appears someone shoots a different target to the one they were supposed to.... Tatiana shoots Klebb when she is supposed to shoot Bond (if she stuck to the original mission) and Bond is supposed to shoot a pheasant but shoots the tree assassin

    The OOO is MWTGG - Bond assumes Scaramanga was supposed to shoot him but instead shoots Gibson, but in actual fact Gibson was the target all along?

    Yes sorry I had it in my mind that Rosa was telling Tatiana to shoot Bond at the end but I’ve no doubt got it wrong, it’s not a favourite Bond of mine so I don’t have the scene committed to memory.

    Please disregard my post.

    Edit: then again what I think I was trying to say is that had Tatiana stuck to her assignment, having got possession of the gun she ought to have shot Bond rather than Rosa. Of course by that stage despite her wavering, it’s obvious she will shoot Rosa instead.

    Either way it’s not a good guess on my part so ignore.

    Nonsense @Max_The_Parrot all guesses are worthy! You are all right around what I was thinking. Yes Bond pulls the trigger. Now think of the targets. So far you have got the MR part right with the tree assassin. The other films we don't have the right target yet...
