Guys, guys, GUYS :-P. Are we Bond geeks or not :-P? I think it's important to know that the logo of S.P.E.C.T.R.E. during the Bond films has changed as well:
The S.P.E.C.T.R.E. logo in "From Russia With Love":
Description: The logo is more of a skull and an octopus being merged into one figure. It has only four tentacles. Blofeld's top layer of his ring is made of polished onyx.
The S.P.E.C.T.R.E. logo in "Thunderball", worn by Blofeld:
Description: Blofeld is still wearing the four-tentacled octopus ring, but now the ring is worn the other way around, with tentacles towards him.
The S.P.E.C.T.R.E. logo in "Thunderball", worn by Fiona Volpe and Emilio Largo:
Description: The operatives however wear a different version of the logo, with eight tentacles, embedded in a more feminine design. The ring is entirely round, and appears to be engraved in white nacre. It seems that No# 1 is wearing a gold ring with gold top layer, whereas the other operatives wear one with a white/silvery top layer.
The S.P.E.C.T.R.E. logo in "You Only Live Twice":
Description: Blofeld now uses now the ring with a black octopus, eight tentacles, encarved on a silver or platinum top layer.. It still has a more or less oval shape though.
The S.P.E.C.T.R.E. logo in "Diamonds Are Forever", in front of Blofeld's BatoSub:
Description: Blofeld wears the ring, but this time around the logo is also used in a more marketing-esque manner. The logo is used on his BatoSub. Note how "fat" Octopus has become :-).
The S.P.E.C.T.R.E. logo in "Spectre":
Description: Let's see how the final design looks like ;-).
Of course After Bond wins that is when there is war between the 2 orginizations but think about it. It kind of makes perfect sence Bond cost quantum a lot of money due to the event in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace Perhaps after regrouping they turn to a new orgnization (perhaps Spectre is an assanation group in the new timeline) Spectre to have them take out 007 it would fit with everything we have heard so far and in my opinion be a great way to bring Spctre into the fold without upseting Quantum fans.
They got his watch wrong. He's wearing the new seamaster 300 mastercoaxial which is a remodelling of the original vintage version. It hasn't been released to the general public yet but will do so in January.
I think this means fun, a lot of it /:)
Ok, but what kind of gadgets could it have if not something we would expect?
The next big shoot set to take place in Morocco is “Spectre,” Sam Mendes’ new James Bond movie.
Mendes and Bond star Daniel Craig recently traveled to Oujda, in northeastern Morocco, to shoot a small scene in a train — one that’s not electrified.
“Oujda is pretty spectacular: It’s surrounded by the desert,” said Zakaria Alaoui, who runs one of Morocco’s leading shingles, Zak Productions, and signed a one-year exclusive contract to work on the Bond movie.
The production will return in June for a 10-day shoot with locations including Tangier and the desert. That shoot will be of such scale that it’s requiring four months of preparation, said Alaoui, who will receive a career tribute at this year’s Marrakech film festival.

I'm really quite a geek @Marketto007 and @4EverBonded with these things hehe :-P. I simply love it. Moreover, I always thought SPECTRE was a damn good brand within the Bond brand. SPECTRE was something that got me fascinated as a young kid. I mean, imagine when you see as a 5-year old that an uncredited weirdo, whose face is not shown, pushes a button, another weird guy in a white raincoat comes out, and then he kicks this other nicely dressed man in his leg...and he dies :-O.
I really didn't understand why Kevin McGlory was such a pain in the ass until his death :-(. Although I do think Barbara & Michael will make some credits at the end of the film saying "Thanks go out to the Kevin McGlory estate". It's something professionals do....
I don't think so.....so far: http://www.mi6community.com/index.php?p=/discussion/10419/spectre-shooting-schedule-may-contain-spoilers#latest
Where did you read that? I am curious now. But in the end, long shooting doesn't necessarily translate into a lot of screentime. Because there's Pinewood too. Just look at Scotland and England in Skyfall.
A very long preparation time but relatively short time being spent there actually filming. Sounds like an action heavy PTS to me.

Sam Mendes says SPECTRE will be everything you expect from a Bond movie.
I think we're getting our own Thunderball/From Russia With Love/On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Uhm, that sounds weird what I'm saying no?
I am hoping it will also surprise us!
