Isn't James Bond 007 meant to be "entertainment", no?

I think everyone here agrees that the franchise is entertainment. Not 100% what point you're trying to make, but let's not spark anything else up, shall we?

    Here you go, on me.

Ooo Macallan 18 would be very nice right about now. I personally prefer scotch over (with) ice.

I wish I had 18 year :( although the bottle of gold I have (cheapest :D) is still pretty fantastic :P

I enjoy it both with ice, and neat in a small glass.

There are times I like to do this to @RC7. And don't take it mildly, I really would like to slap his face.....like in the classic Bond films:

But every now and then....I do feel OK with him :-):

Wonder seeing as the new song is a type of love song? Whether we are going to get something along the lines of TSWLM?

Did I read somewhere that Disclosure was also involved somehow on WotW? Or did I just make that up...

As someone pointed out earlier in the thread - EoN are, as with he bland poster, playing it oh so very safe with the choice of Sam Smith.
I have nothing against the fella' or those who enjoy his music, but it cannot be denied that he & his songs are real 'lowest common denominator' kind of stuff. They really are.

It is quite frankly like Phil Collins or Toto doing the title song back in the 1980's.

Blandness seems to be a recurring theme so far in the lead up to SP...

A-ha. Duran Duran. Not exactly edgy choices. The definition of 80s blandness in some respects, yet we love their Bond songs (if not necessarily their other stuff).

So chill out, relax, and see what Smith comes up with.
  • Despite my disappointment with Sam Smith chosen, I am very excited mostly due to intrigue. I'm looking forward to Thursday, as I know it will be released at midnight that day. So it's like a week today guys!!!! One week to go.

Damn, it is only one week until it's out. Where has the month gone? SP will be out before I know it. Sadly, I'm still forcing myself to not listen to it until I hear it in the movie in November. If you've never tried that before, I suggest you do it, it's always a nice treat hearing the new title song in the first viewing alongside the themes.
