Bond and fatherhood
In the continuing trend to explore the inner workings of Bond (ie Skyfall), does anyone have any references or thoughts on Bond and fatherhood. The standard take would be that Bond is somewhat emotionally restricted perhaps down to his child hood, obviously his job and the death of his wife. Skyfall makes many references to age and fitness to do the job. In line with this, most men get to an age when they reflect on what they have not done in their lives and that time has or is running out. Its a potentially interesting newsub plot IMHO and something I am exploring re own screenplay. Any thoughts?
