McConkey and The Spy Who Loved Me

I am not a follower of extreme sports, but there is a documentary about skier/base jumper Shane McConkey that is worth everyone's while. McConkey died in 2009, and the one jump that inspired him the most was Rick Sylvester's stunt jump in The Spy Who Loved Me. McConkey even re-enected that jump for a video special. The types of bindings that Sylvester used were still in use when McConkey made his ill-fated jump. And it would appear McConkey was a big Bond fan, as at one point
