I wonder when they’re going to lean into the ‘No TIME To Die’ thing? :D
They should, it's a tagline waiting to happen. And I agree with you, @mtm, about the watch. Lovely. I still prefer my QOS PO42 Omega, and I'd still go to that lovely one from SP with the NATO strap first. But this would definitely come third. Never been a fan of the blue 300, well except in 95, when I still wanted a blue BMWz3 as well. What Bond does to you, eh?
I have the Omega Seamaster 300 Skyfall edition and that was £4,500, which I thought was enough.
For the same price as the new Bond watch on a NATO, you could get a stronger titanium WITH ceramic. Of course, I don't think Craig had input on its design and it isn't featured in the movie...
Here's the same watch they are offering on the nato strap. Looks better I think. Albeit it isn't screen accurate...
Doubt it. The titanium mesh is the main selling point and the official and accurate look he wore in the movie. The nato is just an alternative lower cost option. Plus all the pics on set shows him wearing it on the mesh. Unless there are some underwater scenes filmed behind closed doors with him wearing it on nato we are not aware of.
The other watch he'll wear is the Aqua Terra, and from the spy pics in Italy, judging by the hour marker at 6 and the blank space at 3 o'clock, it's not even the current Aqua Terra but the previous one that he wore in Spectre.
Screw continuity i guess... Lol.. They probably think audiences don't notice these small details.
If they have used the old watch because this is set several years ago (and it would make sense if we see him having made a life for himself in Jamaica) it would be an unusual level of continuity when compared to the opening of Quantum of Solace which was supposedly set immediately after the ending of Casino Royale but had Bond in a completely different suit! :)
What’s the largest number of watches Bond has worn in one film before? There’s quite a few where he’s worn two (LALD, Thunderball and Octopussy spring to mind) but is Spectre the only one where he’s worn three?
Nice!! Yours? What do you think of it?
Not till February at least.. Display piece and they were taking orders for it.
I take it you liked it :)
Yes.. Love it. But don't think I'd want to pay full price for it. Price is insane.
Very cool.
Yeah, I'll stick to my QOS PO42. It just screams DC era to me, while still being a Seamaster and having that Submariner colour scheme at the same time. A perfect blend of all diver bond style watches, IMO. But that blue 300 is really classy, must say.
It almost looks like plexiglass.. Lol.. But it does pop out slightly higher than usual. Should be fine.
Huh? The watch i posted is an automatic. No batteries.
