Diamonds Are Forever--smuggling chain question
Mr. Wint and Kidd kill each person involved in the smuggling chain, but why bother having a chain or middle-men at all? Why not just take the diamonds directly from the dentist to Blofeld? Why involve Mrs. Whistler, Tiffany Case, Peter Franks, etc.?
