Ford in Temple was simply awesome. He wore it well, and presented best IMHO.

I am actually interested in the winter clothing Bond will wear for those scenes. I think they are heading in a good direction with the style in general. His hair looks great (finally!), what we have seen so far looks very good indeed. I doubt the suits Bond will wear in this film will be fitted as tightly as in Skyfall. I'm all for a dinner jacket at some point; doesn't have to be white. Bond will be heading to Mexico - a far warmer climate than Austria, and perhaps the more formal attire (and white jacket more appropriate) will happen there. Though Rome surely can be a dream location for elegant clothing. So far, all are looking good, including Monica and Lea.

Not a white DJ but getting near the same look which here looks quite sharp with the blue cotton shirt:

Not bad, it was Richard James. The colour combination works well although I think James's longer looking, flaired jackets look better on taller men.
IVNSHO, the best Layer Cake suit is the blue that was designed by Carlo Brandelli at Kilgour.
That one was an absolute killer and is often refered to as Craig's Bond audition suit.

Tall as of Boogie, to whom you referred to some posts before?

Imo though, suits of all kind look better on well build, broader men, which DC was not in LC. (Of course, he was well build, but in a much lighter way). I never liked this particular suit in the end scene, but he rocked the leather jacket. You know, the one made by Dunhill.

Never realised Craig wore 7 For All Man Kind jeans. I have 3 pairs, they're the only ones I'll wear. Which film/scene?

That is what he is wearing in Bolivian desert scene in QOS with his TF polo shirt and TF Harrington Jacket.

Sir Hillary - who did the jacket that Bond wore in CR after he landed in Nassau?

Sorry good Dr but I couldn't open that file.
Could be the limitations of Apple or heaven forbid, Villiers53
But I'm not sure it was a suit. He got off the plain wearing it.

My money is on the evil Apple Empire. The image was of a light grey linen suit that Bond wore on arriving in Nassau. Does that sound like the one?

Here's a link to an article featuring it (half way down page)

Good Dr- I imagine that you are a paragon of sartorial elegance in yours mais, apres un certain age, I've always been of the opinion that jeans should be worn with the utmost caution.
There is a tendency to be age inappropriate or alternatively to look like Bob the builder.
For years, my fallback position were Levis 501 but then, without consulting me, the scurrilous n'er-do-wells started playing around with the fit.
Happily, I've found a fabulous alternative from Dunhill.
That said, I have seen Danny sporting some age inappropriate skinny ones off duty. I do hope they aren't going to find there way into SP!
For Bond I think well cut cords or moleskin from Anderson & Sheppard would be more appropriate .

If cords or moleskins are what you are after, Cordings is the number one spot to go.

Sorry doghouse but this is just not correct. We don't want poor old 007 to look like farmer Giles.
Send him along to Anderson & Sheppard and he will be able to buy the most fabulous cords or moleskins with a Bryan Ferry rather than a farmer Giles fit!

In Doghouse's humble opinion Bond would never be in Anderson & Sheppard regardless, so that is a non starter.

Hi mate, I am a bit of a fanatic I specialise in finding affordable alternative I have recreated most looks at the moment I just finished putting together an affordable Dan look from his press shot on the mountain in the blue puffa jacket which is by Canada goose costs £700 I found one by Jack and jones called boom for £29. I tend to be able to identify things from seeing them on screen but I do share info with others who do the same. My wife can't watch Bond with me as I give a running commentary on what Bond is wearing. :0)

Just hoping the suits look better in the action scenes in SP. In SF Craig looked like the seams were about to burst on some of his suits in the PTS and the London chase.

Their are mitigating factors to consider. When Jany Temime and Tom Ford discussed the suits they were cut in such away to allow Daniel to move around more freely.

    Great article here from TF

I know - I think suits are always cut differently for action scenes. Infact, I seem to remember there were dozens of versions of the same suit for different moments in the various sequences. Regularly cut suits, and others with differing tailoring depending on how much movement/action Craig had to make in the scene.

My point is that despite this, the suits often look ill-fitting in the action scenes. Not something I'd noticed in previous Craig outings.

It was very bad. Even the standing still suits were ill fitting.
