Joe Kramer (MI: Rogue Nation)
Michael Giacchino (The Incredibles, MI3/Ghost Protocol)
Henry Jackman & Matthew Margeson (Kingsman)
Alan Silvestri (Judge Dredd, Back to the Future Trilogy, The Avengers)
Danny Elfman (Batman, Mission: Impossible)
And if none of them accept the job, David Arnold.
We can do this all day.
Masterpiece?
Don't you say those things.
That's ridiculous. So you'd rather they announce Tamahori is directing just as long as they do it tomorrow?
Isn't it better to wait and get things right? Although not that there's any guarantee of that in the slightest.
I still also believe the longer it drags, the less likely Craig will return, as a new studio probably will want to 'launch' with a soft reboot if the film is coming out in 2018 or later.
I too believe Mendes and/or Craig may be back for a fifth and last one. In fact it would be a shame if not. Spectre has brought back the true cinematic Bond feeling and I really want more of that with Craig.
CR-SF was an experiment that didn't really go well. CR being the great one thanks to Martin Campbell and wise casting decisions.
Craig 5 could be so much fun. They even could bring back some characters from the first four movies.
And if EON has to start a new era it should not be a soft reboot but a continuation of Spectre. 100% Bond, no experimental nonsense. Keep the cast, it will work fine with a new Bond actor, it always has worked in the past.
Bring in a director that knows how to do action and already has delivered good movies.
Marc Forster and Sam Mendes were mistakes (even if Spectre has turned out to be great), but they failed miserably with QOS/SF.
And of course, the most important thing, no matter how it will play out, HIRE NEW WRITERS.
Moreover, many directors had worked with these actors on respective Bond films before an actor replacement took place. Namely Young, Hamilton, Gilbert and Hunt pre-Moore & Campbell, Spottiswoode, Apted & Tamahori pre-Craig.
Fiennes, Harris & Whishaw are firmly Samuel Mendes constructs in contrast. Only he has worked on a Bond film with them, and they are his vision. Additionally, they have only been around for the last two films, and not all four of Craigs. So I wonder if they necessarily will survive an actor, or even a director change
I think you would make a swell Q !
@DarthDimi would be perfect as Bond.
@Thunderfinger can be Moneypenny.
I am the villain. Count Lot of Doe.
Personally I hope they abandon this current chronology with the next actor. They should drop it like an ugly baby. You can view the entire Craig era as a kind of 'Bond Begins' saga, it makes sense to pick up with a fully developed Bond whose only motivation is his duty.
I don't think any Bond film is and that half baked hodge podge certainly is not.
I want to be M so that I can yell at @Thunderfinger with absolute impunity. I'd have said Tanner, but if they don't even bother giving Rory jack to do, they certainly won't give me the time of day.
