If Bond is depressed, then the audience will be too. Stamper find them.

+2. As for Cumberbatch, he's a fine actor but he's excessively overrated and I don't particularly like him. Him being in the movie would not be a disgrace like Scott was in SPECTRE, but I'd be better without him.
Same. They are very poor and uninspired choices, I'm sure Boyle can do better than that.
On a side note, I recently watched 28 days later for the first time and really enjoyed it. In my opinion Boyle directed Harris better than Mendes did in his Bond outings. I think @ClarkDevlin nailed the point, she's more suited to field work than being behind the desk, contrary to what Mendes tried to transmit with Skyfall.
I will say this it is interesting the moment Cashey posts something panchitopistols is picking up the rumor and saying it’s gold.... fascinating ....
Anyways on the subject of Bond 25 hopefully we will know things soon and hopefully it’s nowhere near the bs. Cashey is selling
Bond has done some 'work for hire' missions for dubious foreign agencies, including a brief job for the CIA but most of the time he spends at some beach villa, doing landscape paintings and pondering if the earlier Bond films were better than the modern ones.
He hears the news that Blofeld had a daughter - Fifi Blofeld! Fifi - played by Angelina Jolie - takes over at SPECTRE! M visits Bond and asks him to help stop Fifi. Bond (once he stops laughing over her name) reluctantly agrees but on the condition this is his final ever mission. Bond plans to retire prior to the end credits.
The film is shot on location in London, London... and London.
Ed Sheeran was going to do the main theme but one million people petitioned online to stop him getting the gig, and EON saw sense.
Poor directing IMO. Just watch her in 28 Days later, or Miami Vice, she´s got a lot of presence in those films.

This. It's so jarring seeing her acting in SP versus Moonlight. A night and day difference, much like Waltz in SP versus Inglourious Basterds.
I will say this it is interesting the day after we speculate something CashleyPersia says he's got friends in the industry who just revealed next Bond movie will do the very thing we speculated (e.g. Logan being an inspiration for Bond 25)
But go on and be a bunch of negative nancies. :P
That said, I would be very disappointed of she didn't return in B25, provided she has good material to work with. Boyle had directed her before, so I'm not too worried about that.
There is something horribly efficient about you.

I loved her in Skyfall (shaving scene anyone?)
This is what I'm talking about. Her performance in SP was a step down from SF. She had more energy, more spark the first time around.
The shaving scene was great, and flirting with Bond at MI6. Her stand out moment in SP was the birthday joke to M.
I totally disagree.
Whishaw has been the MVP of the most recent Bond films. In fact, I much prefer his performance in many respects to that of Desmond's.
The original Q was iconic but Whishaw has been on scene-stealing form and I honestly can't wait to see him in Bond 25. I want him to continue in the role for years to come. In fact, I'm a little nervous that they'll re-cast the part once Daniel leaves. I want Whishaw to play the role for years to come.
Ben Whishaw is also a terrific actor who completely disappears into each role he plays. I think he's more of the most talented and hardest working actors in the UK currently. He was rather good in A Very English Scandal (though Hugh Grant was the highlight in that for me).
Also, I think Harris fits the Moneypenny role effortlessly. Her chemistry with Craig is terrific and I genuinely anticipated her scenes with Bond in both SF and SP.
Excuse me?
Though I think you may be on to something (if I understand your post correctly). McWilliams is an Eon staffer, Danny Boyle often uses Gail Stevens as his his casting director. She also happens to be his ex-wife! I imagine they have a good relationship still as she's cast every one of his films.....
From what I can gather, Mark Strong is in the film. It looks like his trainer deleted that video. I know some people suggested it was Stanley Tucci, but if you watch previous videos from the trainer he only specifically trains Mark Strong.
110% Mark Strong in the video and the fact that it’s been deleted means that maybe he wasn’t allowed to give that information up?
I also read an article about Craig visiting the CIA. What’s interesting is the director said they showed Craig how the CIA is more about espionage vs killing and gun fights.
One aspect missing from Craig’s films, (besides CR & QOS), was the espionage. M repeatedly told 007 that he’s an assassin and we heard Bond tell Madeline that he kills people for a living.
I love Craig but I seriously hope they come up with a great plot. He needs to do some REAL spy work this time, not just be an assassin. He is now a seasoned veteran and I am hoping for a crazy plot.
Maybe we open with a wedding scene. Almost everyone dies. Bond has to track down whoever killed Swann and everyone else?
He was that close to a normal life and then bam he’s back into the service and 007.
Just something interesting. I don’t see them just going with a new plot and a typical Bond mission. I definitely see Madeline being in the film. Something has to draw him back to the service for one last mission!
I’m more worried about the ending they really need to do Dan some justice.
Agree with all this - and welcome back!
