Or The Shatterhand of Smersh :))
Smiert Spionom??
Yes, it feels completely insane to me too, after so much waiting.
I agree with both of you. I can't wait to see who's cast.
I think that title would be great. It's catchy (suits the studio), there might be a Russian angle (suits the director) and there's a link to Fleming (suits the fans).
I would only love shatterhand if its a true adaptation of YOLT, but from everything we have read it seems we are getting a standalone story
The title will be "007" lol
Hey, it’s worked for Rocky, Logan....Jaws :D
Plus it can be personal. So they should go with JAMES.
"you know the rest"
I hope for „Property Of A Lady“ - there‘s good ways to translate it plus it would be a Fleming title.
Maybe "Young Shatterhand" could work. :)
Sounds like a teen movie title :))
I'm surprised we never had a movie title with "blood" in it. So far we've only got Blood Fever, which was a Young Bond book title. Actually, that ain't too bad.
This current trend of titles such as JASON BOURNE, LOGAN, STAR TREK, SOLO, etc completely bore me when Fleming lived in an era where a book or film's title was very important.
If the Bonds were produced by anyone other than Eon, I do think we'd get a film called:
JAMES BOND.
With Boyle being a fan of Fleming perhaps we will get a Fleming-esque title for B25?
I still would love the remaining short story titles to be used at some point. I'd substitute 007 in NEW YORK with THRILLING CITIES, though.
Somehow I have a feeling we may get another made up title.
I would mind either version. They have a Bondian ring, without being too on-the-nose.
As it happens, the fan favourites are the ones critics also like the most.
Another one word title starting with S?
Unless we are going down the cul-de-sac of "real fans..." (and lets not even waste time doing that), that means nothing. Pick a Bond film, it's a fan favourite.
SMERSCH. Or maybe SHMERSH.
