But yes, I also think they´ve done all the possible and now it´s time to move on.
The critical point in making Bond movies is writing and the schedule. I hope that changes, too.
EON must hire a good writer and give him/her the time he/she needs.
Plunkett & Macleane and Twine both include Robert Carlyle. Music by Craig Armstrong, one of options i like see as composer for Bond movie. Also starring Alan Cumming (Goldeneye).
Let Him Have it starring also with Serena Scott Thomas who playing the doctor in Twine and Michael Gough who play Alfred in Batman (1989-1997). Music by Michael Kamen (Licence To Kill). Stoned is starring Ben Whishaw and music is by David Arnold.
I stil think there should consider Hossein Amini. I sugest him a couple of times and now he is doing the screenplay for Spy movie (based on novel by John le Carré) with include Naomi Harris. Mabey option with the third writer of Spectre.
Steelbook edition from Spectre as you can read in Spectre on Bluray thread http://www.mi6community.com/index.php?p=/discussion/13083/spectre-on-blu-ray#latest , released by MGM/Fox.
For a whyle the preorder pages on bol.com who confirmd earlier MGM/Sony going release Spectre on BD and dvd are gone too. It have been then second time after CR movie be made and released by MGM/Sony. In other words: Casino Royale whas only Bond movie made and released by MGM/Sony and it look like it stay that way.
It can mean Fox is back in release Bond 25 in cinema too, as in between option Universal release Spectre. MGM/Sony making the movie and MGM/Fox release BD and Dvd. MGM/Fox also release QOS and Skyfall on BD/DVD. It also can mean Sam Mendes is back. Another option is Die Another Day option, this mean movie wil be made and released on BD/DVD by MGM/Fox and Sony is gone.
Idea of Warner wil take over in making movie is, is with this confirmd from the table i think. Whyle there is also option MGM/Fox making the movie and Warner release it in the cinema. Movies like X-men First Class, X-files and Kingsman are Fox movies but released by Warner in Dutch cinema and by Fox on BD/DVD.
Maybe he gets a bigger role on the next one.
It's hard enough to find two writers who can work together without stepping on each others toes, let alone three or four.
I hope with B25 they get just one or two writers to work on the script, and not P&W again for heavenly sake! Jez could do justice to Bond if he is given the trust and freedom from EON. At the very least there wouldn't be so many plot wholes next time.
I second this.
I understand what you are saying but I don't think so... maybe.
Seriously doubt Mendes returning based on recent interviews.
Im hoping not.
Either way it hinges on whether their is an early draft outline for Bond 25 by then? Also whether DC and a Directer are on board by this point?
They were spot on with the SP script shortcomings though.
I blame the filmmakers more for not making the film they should have. Choosing Logan then fixing the script with P&W????..
I don't want Sony either.
Warner Brothers on the other hand would do it justice.
Disney was my usual dose of hidden sarcasm :))
But then Craig belting out a tune every now and then... :))
They have tons of cash and artistic vision. I know they turn out lots of crap too, but that is beside the point.
