I remember reading that Barbara or just "EON" had to push Newman to even include the theme song in that lovely scene where Bond arrives at the casino by boat. It was an issue for sure.
New composer, sure. But I also don't mind Arnold. In general, I am just much more relaxed with Fukunaga at the helm, because I love his visual storytelling and he is a writer. I like Boyle, but I did not feel nearly as excited or could even safely visualize what he might bring.
I found the rising sun (rising son) Chinees and Japanese element of QOS always very intresting.

If directer stil feels him self Japanese iam curious or we finaly contuned more QOS elements.
I will wait till I see it before I decide but I am more excited especially if the mystery element (which is prevelant in my favorite bond films From Russia With Love Casino Royale Quantum Of Solace The Living Daylights For Your Eyes Only etc)
To be fair I knew Boyle would never work out as in 2014 he said himself he loves watching those movies but can’t make them and suddenly in 2018 that changes... right
I'm curious to see if these attributes and elements make it into B25. If nothing else I suspect, like you both, that it will be a somewhat avant-garde film.
Could Lotis still be in play? Is Aston providing a vehicle that is not an automobile?
That's a good point. But it's only based on the 2 or 3 last directors, who all have had very visually impacting styles. I would also weigh in the element of chance. DC had worked under Sam Mendes and shortly Danny Boyle, and in both cases this led to them being offered the job. But overall: Yes, visual daring and visceral style is an appropriate characterisation. Also for Marc Forster's films.
My thoughts exactly! I noticed he didn't mention that it would be a car. How about their luxury boat or that new flying vehicle thing?

It is clear that Lotus do not stand a chance to break the ties between the Bond franchise and Aston Martin. AM's comments a few days ago were very confident in that matter.
But the interviewee cautioned her, we cannot read from this that there will be an AM in Bond 25, or even a car in a major role. What could that next chapter be? AM has the limited series Goldfinger DB5 series as one chapter, and the air taxi Volante Vision as another.
The Volante Vision is still only a concept, but they should be able to build a flying prototype within a year. I hate to speculate, but I hope the days of flying/diving/invisible cars are over.
It is quite luxurious looking. As soon as I saw it I felt it oozed Bond.

-The era of the invisible/stealth vehicle should say buried, indeed. But the era of the flying vehicle (stay with me) might not be as far fetched as it seems, if it were executed with a sense of—to borrow from Dick Donner—'verisimilitude'.
-For example: I'm picturing a modern take on the Thunderball opening that essentially treats the vehicle the way that film treats the jetpack. Bond's trying to escape something, appears hemmed in with his Aston, only to reveal it's loaded with drone-inspired capabilities that give it the brief ability to convert and "fly" out of the scenario.
-To be clear, I'm thinking of something like a quick jump over a wall, before it speeds away down the road. (vs. a Tamahori-type take, in which it would presumably fold out like a DeLorean and zoom away in a crack of neon-infused lightning).
-Current indications would suggest that's not tonally the type of film we're getting with Bond 25, though, so all of this is probably very unlikely.
-Another area to consider: autonomous vehicles. Maybe it's as simple as a new Astonomous Martin ( ;) ) that can drive itself, freeing up both Bond's hands for more...pressing matters. Lethal or otherwise.
One of the biggest let downs for me in SPECTRE was the car chase sequence. So much wasted potential.
Mabey a car chase where Bond is not driving, but for example Camile, followd by the local Police, CIA and/or Army. Bullit

Talking about action scene,mabey something like this, but les violence..
No car chase will top that one, IMO. That car chase is just as much about the three minute prelude as the chase itself; can't see them doing that with Bond.
