Never been to crazy about the title Shatterhand. It's certainly not a title that can be sung in a title song. "Shat-her-haaaaaand!"

And yet Thunderball or Goldfinger are ok? ;) I love Shatterhand, particularly if it is adapted from YOLT. Well adapted i mean.

I wouldn't pick Shattered hand as a title ,just saying it sounds better than Shatterhand.

    Love that film.

Shatterhand is a good Bond title IMO, but like others have said the one-word S titles are starting to become a bit tiresome. Still, there’s many worse titles the film could get. Plus we still don’t know for sure if it will be the final title.

To me, they're both miles better. Funny, but better!

That definitely sounds better. With so many artists today mumbling their words, Shatterhand can easily be misheard and become a joke. We've been there before:

Thunderball is nice but Goldfinger not so much.... SCARAMANGA is better name than Goldfinger imo

People will always find something funny in that. Once I heard someone saying "nightfall" to make fun of "skyfall"

I'm struggling to understand why people wouldn't like Shatterhand as a title. It sounds like classic Bond. And it's straight out of Fleming. Perhaps, in fact, the most well-known and oft-mentioned unused Fleming bit remaining. It checks every box.

    I'd love it.
  • I can't take the criticism of the "Shatterhand" title by Brits all that seriously... After all, there are people from Britain with names such as Imogen Poots.

An American actress christened thus at birth would have to change her name if she wanted a career.

Imagine an American actor named "John Thomas Wanker" coming over to the UK to appear in a BBC series... He's introduced by the announcer on a chat show to be interviewed by the host.

    Cue audience laughter.

I hate "Shatterhand", not only as a title but also as a word. "Two tickets for Shatterhand, please!" I don't think so!

No different than Goldfinger or Thunderball

    Or Octopussy for that matter.

I guess you'd be part of the 99% of fans you want to be pissed off by Bond 25.

Shatterhand is fine as a working title, but carries no weight or meaning for fans around the world who are not familiar with Fleming. You could say "same thing for Goldfinger or Thunderball" of even "Spectre" so yeah. It doesn't matter much. I simply doubt it will be the final title.

Blofeld - EON have the rights to the character and he will return, but that does not mean at all that his reappearance will be in Bond 25. Not necessary.

I wonder if, with the rumors of Norway as a location, if they film on the fjords, perhaps the Aston Martin SUV the DBX will be used. It'll be a first that's for sure.

No flashier than any other Aston Martin he’s driven as of late. If anything it’s sportier.

I'd prefer the DB11, tbh. But the Superleggera is beautiful.

Honestly, I’ll just be happy to see Craig driving another new model on screen. Any will do as long as it’s not the DB5 again. I’ve had the privilege to drive an Aston for a day. They exude beauty & power.
