I hope they do a SP like press event opposed to a full on "press conference" Title reveal, cast reveal, and a few juicy details. Sometimes the world press ask the most dumb questions or ones that obviously can't be answered. SF's was a lot like that. Give us the info you're ready to give us and then move on. I can't wait!
    Agreed.

I'd like a nice website to go along with the movie reveal too. they used to do nice ones back when the web was just getting going, but they just threw a few items on the 007 site for the last few as far as I remember. BTW, Beyonce for the song, please. With lots of Barry brass.

So we know the conference date for SPECTRE, and we know the date of start of production. But does anyone remember which day the conference was announced to be held?

That might give us a clue as to when we will get a conference date for B25.

I'm not entirely sure if this is correct, but I found this article from the 2nd December 2014, that states that, "Earlier today, on the 007 Facebook and Twitter pages, teaser images were released showing the countdown to December 4th."

    https://www.jamesbondlifestyle.com/news/bond-24-title-and-cast-announcement-december-4-2014

So I'm guessing they'll announce it a couple of days before, so I imagine we'll get the announcement and the conference at the end of February, maybe even beginning of March.

Apparently, the advisory went out two days ahead of the SPECTRE press event.

Hoping we get something like this again leading up to Bond 25. The end results of SP were mixed, but my hype for the announcements was HUGE.

Either there is yet another delay or filming will begin in just 30 days.

A small news update in Variety - reiterating that Fukunaga is writing and directing for a spring start:
    https://variety.com/2019/digital/news/james-bond-movies-netflix-hulu-mgm-1203126131/

It's not much, but at least it's something. Meanwhile, Fukunaga is nominated tonight at the DGA awards for his direction of the Maniac series. I'm be intrigued to see if he turns up. He was a no-show at the PGA awards a fortnight ago where he was also nominated for Maniac. As we discovered, he went to Paris for Fashion Week instead...

Thats not really news. They are just repeating what EON released months ago. If there is a delay, that would be a much more recent development.

That's interesting! Maybe they'll film at Goldeneye?

How about "The Noses have it" as a title? Or "Eyes to the right, noses to the left"?

That's very interesting news. I know Jamaica has been used as a location before, but has Bond ever filmed there?

    Perfection.

Perhaps, Jamaica is where Bond and Madeleine spend their time at the beginning of the film? I can't imagine a more proper location than this, since it was also Fleming's "getaway".

If I'm not mistaken, cinematic Bond has not visited Jamaica since Dr. No, and the last time a Bond movie was shot in Jamaica was LALD (Jamaica portaying the ficitional San Monique).

So currently we have these possible locations: Norway, Spain (standing in for Tunesia) and Jamaica. At one point was considered: Namibia.

What a great way to end Craig's run by visiting the location that started it all, the novels and the films.
