Just a really silly question but I’m curious... You UK gentlemen are used to call Matera “Mater” or simply “Matera”? Like “Milan” instead of “Milano”?

Also: does the Italian article go into the STORY of what is being filmed? I don't mind reading locations but if there is any mention of plot, what action will happen, please tell me now. I am not entering spoiler tags maybe from today on ... ;)
Also, if written in a newspaper or magazine, I think any plot ideas or story line mentioned could easily be incorrect.
