I refuse to believe filming will not start within 25 days (meaning before the end of the first week of April). I know Barbara Broccoli loves delays, but even she has to admit it's time to start filming very soon.
No need for concern, we all know filming's starting at the end of the month.
We all know filming can start very soon because they are ready. The have made all the necessary preparations. The only issue is that Barbara loves delays! She is addicted to them, so she might delay filming one last time just to satiate her addiction! :))
You must think alcoholism starts after one pint...

...and by the way your biased nature against Barbara is showing again :/

he has a different nature to that?

back on topic within two weeks we should know the title

You are so, so off the mark. Barbara Broccoli is a very smart and very professional producer (no one I've ever met in the film industry, in over 30 years, doubts her ability; she has huge industry and studio respect). She drives forward, and always with courage and conviction. I've seen her on the job. Have you?

I prefer to have Bond films delayed for 10 years instead of an unbondian Bond film every six months - something that will happen if the dream (or whatever sort of nightmare) of some pen pushers who want EON to be out of the series comes true and the franchise is sold to the Illuminati of Disney, Marvel, Apple or Amazon.

    James Bond = EON Productions.
EON Productions = The Broccoli Family.
The Broccoli Family = the ones who bet for an unknown literary secret agent who has been there for almost 60 years.

On the other hand, notice how no-one is mad about being the next Jason Bourne, or the next Kingsman girl, or directing an xXx film. That's a merit of the Broccolis.

Seriously, I'm fed up of all the "throw EON out" or "Barbara is making the fans suffer" complaints. Sooner or later, James Bond will return. And nowadays, we can't really complain that much: we have 24 films on VHS, DVD, BluRay, streaming and 40 novels to read, plus a couple of comics from Dynamite.

In Variety, yesterday: "The joint venture with MGM, forged in 2017, has not taken a rosy path. Despite dipping into Annapurna’s deep pockets to roll out the upcoming 25th installment in the James Bond spy series, per the initial agreement Annapurna would not be allowed to flash a title card bearing its logo before the movie’s opening credits. The squabbling got so granular that the then MGM communications chief would bark at journalists for including Annapurna in stories about the film, which is coming in 2020 from director Cary Fukunaga."

Other than that, there have also been complications with GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies and Quantum of Solace. Back in the old days, Bond was announced with a huge billboard at the Carlton in Cannes to return in 1991 "starring Timothy Dalton". Not to mention all the changes there were in TSWLM or the idea to reboot Bond in TLD as a Dr. No prequel - and Pierce being swapped out for Timothy after his Remington Steele contract prevented him to be Bond.

But luckily, back then technology wasn't advanced and we were taught to be patient.

Very interesting. What's more interesting is Megan Ellion's response on Twitter:

However, for me the Annapurna logo before a film is a badge of honour. It's often a signifier that you're about to see something interesting and worthwhile. Annapurna are doing the Lord's work cinematically. Naturally, there films aren't overly commercial and they're overspending like crazy - but the end product is often fantastic.

Plus, if you ask me, they have a terrific logo:

Come on! You can't be serious! :)) The filming of Bond 25 got delayed again recently because she was unable to produce a Bond script in 3 years. Other people produce AND write AND direct movies just as big as a Bond film in 2 years!

I actually feel quite bad for you. You're so blinded by your own rage that you really can't enjoy anything can you? I can't wait to see you standing lonesome with your 'Burn the Broccoli' t-shirt and your 'Bring Boyle Back' sign because then you might realise how solitary your opinions are and how really you're just fuelling us all to support this film even more, so thank you :D

Mate, if you were the calmest person on this thread you wouldn't be taking the time to pull down this film every chance you get, and before you do a 180 and say you don't and that you can't wait for this film... show it! Every comment you make about delays and Barbara and Boyle are pointless, because at the end of the day, there's not going to be another delay as much as you would like one to fuel your biased against Eon.

While I appreciate people's opinions, your comments aren't opinions. They're blatant ways of trying to get a rise out of people, and your comment just there towards @Pierce2Daniel is a massive example of that. Just stop, and if you're not gonna leave, then just enjoy this site for what it is... a community of fans who judge based on fact and logic, not how many toys they want to throw out of the pram.

I'm sure this won't get through to you, but I cant at least try.

It's still rings true. They can't even get a script in place after over three years. I don't think the recent delay was over a better slot, they had no choice.

@Denbigh Everything I write is either my sincere opinion or a tongue-in-cheek comment trying to look at the situation in a humorous way. Why ColonelSun reacted to my funny comment about Barbara being addicted to delays as if it were a personal insult is something I cannot understand. I also cannot understand why people are offended why I criticize EON in a serious manner. Not only do they get offended, they get really angry! Why? Is there here no place for criticism? The bottom line is that I am NOT an EON fan. I am NOT a Barbara Broccoli fan. I am a Bond fan. When EON does something I believe is stupid, I will criticize them.

For me, it's not hate, it's disagreement, which is why I reply and yes, people are allowed to be skeptical, myself included, and I'm quite skeptical about people's motivations for their hatred of Eon and Barbara, again which is why I reply. I also get frusrated because of its constant. I'm all for sharing opinions and tongue-in-cheek comments but when I think it's bordering on the brink of trolling, that's when I get angry. We've no real reason to be worried at the moment if I'm honest, and I'm quite surprised we haven't considered that the script is finished.

And @PanchitoPistoles, I'll keep it brief. I don't hate you, I just get very passionate about trying to avoid trolls which is sometimes where I think you can reach. I'm not against hearing your opinions (although I do sometimes feel they're not opinions), but I find your comments regarding this delay too persistent. So much has developed since then that I'm just surprised by how much you're sticking to your guns on this. I just don't think it should cloud your judgement going forward, because it seems whenever we make some amount of progress, you bring it back to the delay which seems to have had no real damaging effect on the film as we can see so far.

Anyway, anyone wanna see Sonoya Mizuno as a Bond girl? Cause I do :)

So today’s news (various newspapers) is that Bond will be driving an electric Aston. This is being reported as an upcoming variant of the Rapide which is due to come out later this year. I wouldn’t be surprised if Aston surprised us with something else. Possibly an electric version of their new SVX SUV. Whether in The snow of Norway, or the steep streets of Matera.

As the electric AM is one of 150 that will be produced I can see him driving it as it something that fits him an exclusive car.

If I'm not mistaken, Dr. No (released 1962) was an EON Production. Ah, now I get it! You are an unofficial Bond fan! :D Don't worry pal, there'll be one day when Casino Royale 67 and Never Say Never Again will get a 4K UHD BluRay release. But probably much after Bond 25 gets released, so you may have to wait much more for that!

Yes a limited run of 150 is pretty exclusive but I just wonder if AM will want to take the opportunity to push a model that will be a rather controversial model for them. And probably their biggest seller.
Btw The Tesla being seen on the Norway set may have been a little ‘stand-in’ tester for the Rapide.

Well an Electric Aston would be interesting if it was used for stealth and infiltration within the plot? Time will tell I guess?

It’s very easy to imagine Wishaw’s Q forcing Bond to drive an electric Aston, and Bond being upset about it... until he steps on the throttle

It is just a amazing car so it would work in any context in a 007 movie. And anything poorer than that carchase from SP in Rome is just not possible.
