Spectre didn't particularly have a press conference. It was just a photo call and the announcement of the production.

Well they have to announce the title one way or another. At the very least, I'd imagine the press release to be accompanied by some sort of title-reveal graphic.

Do we honestly think they'll have casted the principles by April 5th?

As I said before, we don't know which cast members could be coming back.
Of the returning ones, we pretty much do. Seydoux, Fiennes, Whishaw, and Harris. They probably would want some of the new members there though.

I still think Waltz and Wright are in even if it's a single scene. They didn't bring back Blofeld and Spectre for one movie only.

I'd much prefer the same format this time around, as opposed to a traditional press conference where the discussion is lead by horrible questions from journalists.

I think SPECTRE will definitely be involved in some capacity. Can't say the same for Waltz.

Same here. It was short and to the point.

Not that we know of. His character died, so it's very unlikely.

I agree. It's all we need and want. Just a 100% announcement.

Not to mention, he didn't speak kindly of of his Bond time, like Waltz.

Shifting the topic a bit, but filming for B25 will officially be underway in 7 days. Do we think Craig or any principle cast will be present in Norway?

Not that I know anything but...
I believe Léa and Daniel will be there...or just "the kid" and Jesper Christensen
Based on anything you've heard, or just speculation?
I doubt the sequence is the rumored Madeleine Swann flashback with the girl they casted being Iranian.

    Pure speculation my friend.

A press conference announcement has to be coming in the next 2-3 weeks at least right?

Or less, maybe a few days from today. IF the Norwegian shoot indeed begins next Monday, maybe we'll have a Press Conference on friday. Remember when @Lizo said a few pages back that EON/SONY send the invitation to the London journalists two days from the official annoucement? Again, I haven`t heard anything, but it could be friday.

I don't know. Like I said, pure speculation of my part. And I quote @Lizo here...

And the media invite was emailed to journalists later that day.

Perhaps we'll get an announcement of another delay soon? That seems to be the trend with this film.
I personally wouldn't mind Eon take another year or two off just to get their title priorities straight.

I am a little late to this... So...

First - EON not letting directors have too much control... I don't see as how much of a shock this is.. This was essentially standard operating procedure for 40 some odd years.. Only recently with Forster, Mendes and Boyle did they relinquish a little bit of their creative control to the directors.. Now, a Director always has ultimate control over his film - but over the years I was under the assumption that most directors brought on board were just another cog in the machine - a cog aligned with the desires of what EON and their writers want to do... Now they've let Directors bring in their own writing staff to do whatever they see fit (under their watchful eye)... But that can be a double edged sword... I feel like EON's job should be to ensure that certain things are done - and certain things are not done (in the context of the story).. I think giving directors free reign sets yourself up for possible disaster and confusion (just look at gadget DB5 from GF in SF as a small example of that - bc EON didn't put their foot down on how that car makes no sense in the rebooted timeline)... EON should operate a lot like how Marvel handles their films.. Bring people in who will execute what they want to do - not directors who simply want to rebuild the 007 sandbox with each new film...
Secondly - the possible title of 'Eclipse'??.. *yawn*.. Part of a longer title? Then I'm down.. But on its own? It sounds like a fanfic title

@jake24 I agree all I want is cast where they are shooting plot synopsis and title graphic and that's it that will hold me till the first trailer
