From Wikipedia's article on Eclipse "The term is derived from the ancient Greek noun ἔκλειψις (ékleipsis), which means "the abandonment", "the downfall", or "the darkening of a heavenly body", which is derived from the verb ἐκλείπω (ekleípō) which means "to abandon", "to darken", or "to cease to exist,"[2] a combination of prefix ἐκ- (ek-), from preposition ἐκ (ek), "out," and of verb λείπω (leípō), "to be absent"
If Bond has left the service he would be absent. An abandoned agent. The events of Bond 25 may force him to come...
"Out of
the Shadows."

Why do i keep seeing this title,
I would love this! That was going to be my username but it was taken.
That means by Wednesday we could know about a press conference. Not holding my breath on it, but that would be damn cool.
......anyone?..... No?.... ok lol.
I made that joke a few pages back
It could work very well ;)
@NS_writings No need to put Ellipsis in spoiler tags as it is not the rumored title in question.
In my opinion, you can't use these without bringing it back to how they were originally used, and if you think they can, you might as well call the film Skyfleet.
Dammit lol.. Like I said, I'm late to this..
Well, I agree on that point, story-wise.
I meant the title in another Bond context would have worked.
It was the door passcode in the airport, and of course a reference to the dot, dot, dot before almost every gun barrel sequence.
I'm happy Boyle is gone, though I look forward to other films from him.
I expect they may change it now, though.
"Here's a question for Daniel. Daniel, what has James Bond in common to Joe Bang, the character you played in Logan's Lucky?"
"Just the initials".
Sigh.
Yeah it’s like a phone keypad, with certain letters corresponding to a certain number.
I believe he also orders something out of a vending machine that is #J7.
Confirmed it's a working title.
what do you guys think is their aversion to using any of the titles from the continuation novels? - because i am sure if they really wanted to, they could.... would you even like to see them use any of those titles?
A lot of the times working titles are the actual titles.
