I have a brotha
Or
The Hildebrand Rarity
Frozen II. Due to be released November 2019.
That's SIX YEARS for Disney to create the follow-up to one of its most successful, critically-acclaimed animated films of all time.
I guess Disney has no idea what they're doing. /s
There is no problem, it’s just trolls that feel the need to get off by fueling other people’s misery. Guess because I’m an “Old Fart,” I can just say Grow Up.
Everything is fine, the sky is NOT FALLING.
Comparing Disney with EON, we all know who in recent times have the best track record. A rather poor comparison in my humble opinion considering the EON output compared to the Disney output.
Ive said same thing as you and that we havent heared anything but im told by a few on here that they can still be filming monday and not announce anything yet.
In the end, I would rather have a longer wait and delays if it ment a better movie out of it. I really want them to succeed with the qualities of Casino Royale, and if more time is required then let it be. Who else is with em on that ?
And I can say no matter what it’s not going to make the Skyfall... I feel some here are just looking for the Spectre of defeat when they should really find their Quantum of Solace. Eon knows what is at stake and the world is not enough for them, now it’s true their have been delays but Tomorrow Never Dies. The film has lived and will not Die another Day. I have been keeping my Goldneye on this thread and I swear I have A view to a Kill here... everyone screaming shouting calm down sometimes this place scares The Living daylights our of me remember only Bond has a Licence to Kill...
Now I would tell you what I am gonna do with my wife tonight instead of all this complaining but it involves a Sean Connery film title and a Roger Moore title I will leave you all to think of that..
Goodnight
Urrrg!
Of course they can start without an announcement. That could lead to less media attention around the shoot. As I wrote in response to the Dagbladet video clip linked a few pages back; looking at what the journalist said about her conversation with one of the guards, they (might) have started. This is what was said:
"Has the James Bond shooting started?", we ask when we pull into the small road. "Yes", smiles the security guard cheerfully.
That could be a misquotation or misunderstanding though, and that the security guard meant that they've started working on the sequence that's about to be shot, but not necessarily that they've started filming.
But EON needs to secure a hell of a lot more in making a big-budget live action film than Disney does in creating an animated feature--which, these days, is computer-generated.
Point is: Why did it take Disney six years to write and film an animated follow-up to Frozen?
Moreover, it has taken Disney NINE YEARS to release its latest Toy Story film.
Is that incompetence? Or an indication that it can often take some time to get all the gears in place? That there are fans criticizing the process may mean that those fans simply do not understand the process.
All of these arguments against the film are based on assumption and pessimism, not fact.
@Denbigh you and obvious others I see as the remaining sanity in this thread.
I don't know about screenwriting therefore I wouldn't dare to question those with knowledge and experience. Yet some here who just aren't getting what they want to hear are acting like children.
Hyperbole is the order of the day and boy some here are latching onto like catnip.
It's good advice, @FredJB007 ... It all started with quoting this article and the poster saying "expect more delays" from that article... All based on what?... Ugh... that's what started the chorus...
Belt out those high notes, @peter
You know you want to. I bet you have a lovely voice.
Actually-- it's like "a heavenly choir singing" @CraigMooreOHMSS
Yes @peter it's great to hear from you. Your kindness and sources are greatly appreciated.
Complete nonsequitur. Disney isn’t The House of Frozen and Toy Story. In the time that Eon have produced three Bond films, Disney has cranked out twenty one Marvel films, which have surpassed the lifetime inflation adjusted gross of the Bond franchise and its twenty four films.
Well that's interesting news. Maybe the have done some dry runs so to speak, to make best use of their filming time next week.
@MooreFun
@Denbigh
lets not also forget this one point too... EON is extremely loyal to Craig - probably more loyal than any previous Bond actor.. they've gone on record as to saying that they are comfortable waiting for Dan to do his other projects before coming back.... so what is their hurry?....
... the only thing that has legitimate concerned me was the delay because of the script.. that worries me.... but.... if the end product is a great film - thats all that ultimately matters.
they very well could be filming sequences that dont involve any of the mains yet - maybe some second unit stuff..
Disney are also able to distribute their own films, while we all know that a huge cause of delays for Eon was a lack of a suitable third party distributor.
Is that what your wife told you, @peter?
I'm afraid I have some bad news ;)
Magnussen isn’t the sharpest tool and is tagging the crew before he is announced. If (and it’s a big ‘if’) the rest of the film is cast and they have begun stunt training, I’d expect him to be adding them and tagging them on Instagram soon.
I’m convinced he will leak the news before the trades. Keep your eye on his page....
. This is it exactly-- teams producing the different characters and stories. EoN is one character, coming from one source, with one family running the show. It's an incredibly unique way of doing business-- especially in today's Marvel/Disney world.
... Unfortunately I have to pay her to tell me that-- gets me up in the morning... (kinky)
