Wow. After 5 years of radio silence and all the drama of delays and a director bailing this is what we get? Never mind how the fans feel, this doesn’t seem like a great way to build hype for a film. Maybe they realized they can’t compete with the buzz around Endgame and Game of Thrones. This just seems so strange.
Indeed. And I think we'll see a simultaneous posting from @007 on Twitter with the title reveal. The only question is what time...
....in fact, for maximum global exposure, I wouldn't be surprised if that happens at a sensible hour -- like noon -- tomorrow.
EDIT: Purely guesswork from me. No info otherwise.
So am I... lol!
That's all I want.
Yeah just gives us the main stuff
With that stubble those beige jackets and trucker hats, Craig and Mickey G look like twins. Perhaps Mickey G will be also filling in as Craig's occasional stunt double?
He does make cameos. Maybe this will be his last one.
Just thinking the same
Maybe there will be a scene like in SUPERMAN II in which Bond gives up his licence to be with Madeleine (a.k.a his super powers), they go into a crummy diner and he gets his a$$ kicked by a local trucker bully (played by Mickey G). The television is then turned on where he discovers Blofeld has taken over the world. Bond realizes the error of his ways and he has to walk back to MI6 HQ in the snow to get his licence back.
It's also had a bit of color done.
But it did have live-streamed video beyond two television programs. Also, reporters attended the event and got to ask questions after the live streaming portion was over.
That will be cool. Quarrel junior
I don’t think the issue is between MI6-HQ and EON. The tweet suggests that this press approach is more Universal’s doing than EON. I think that Universal has done some major changes in it’s press approach compared to how Sony did it because Universal has shut everyone out so far but I believe @marketto007 mentioned that he had a good relationship with Sony.
And the tweet ended with “Universal really knows how to pre-market a Bond film...” so it looks like it’s more Universal than EON
Yes but the snarky tone seems directed at Universal and their handling of this, not at EON.
