    New interview with Barbara Broccoli:
    https://naekranie.pl/artykuly/bond-zrobil-sobie-przerwe

She confirms that Bond took an indefinite time off work but did not "retire". However, once he got to Jamaica, he didn't want to leave.

Secondly, MI6 have moved on in his absence but the plot requires them to seek Bond's assistance.

Plus, these three will be on GMA tomorrow:

Daniel Craig has described PWB as "brilliant"

Also willing to bet money that Dali is playing Rami's brother:

Glad to have some more story details with Bond.

Not to sound facetious @fjdinardo , I think this young cast is there for a reason... Namely the aged lion is coming back for one more battle and he will school the sh*t out of them youngins with the bad assery he will bring, as well as his sense of duty and sacrifice.

    My guess.

Makes me think of SF and Bond driving with M from London in the old Aston rather than the "company car".

Btw, that's a wrap for the front page timeline now that the film's been announced. Hope you guys enjoyed the updates over the last couple years. It makes for quite an interesting read.

Haven’t read through all of it but you aren’t going to update it when we get the title
the Hildebrand Rarity which I am so certain is the title I am keeping it in spoiler untill it’s revealed

    So let's get this clear...

    Rami is playing Dr No?

George Lazenby is in the film?

Felix is working for Donald Trump's new intelligence agency: Federal Organization Of Liberty - or as it's known in the film: FOOL

And there is a doomsday type weapon that can control the weather, create AI robots and find lost socks?

    I can buy into that!

I think the title will be my last update. I don't know if I want to continue all throughout filming, especially now that the character limit has been reached.

Unfortunately @Risico007 as much as I would like to see a Fleming title be chosen for Bond 25 (looking at you Risico), I think if it was they would just tell us. It seemed to me that they don't have a title more than they're keeping it a secret.

Even if Bond 25 is worse than a double bill screening of Casino Royale 1967 and Die Another Day (!) - the rumour about George Lazenby in the film will make it worthwhile. I've read some crazy stuff in my time but that is hilarious. Hope he is playing Bond's dad. Ya know, his real dad, the one that didn't die on a mountain but hid away and become an actor and starred in one hit action movie in 1969.

    It's all gone crazy!!!!!!!!!!!

I want the name of Bab's botox surgeon or her Ebay supplier! :P

    (joke, nothing personal)

At the risk of inflaming the metoo group, Babs was looking good! She should play a Bond babe... er woman in a future Bond film. Bond 26 with the new Bond younger actor. Babs plays an older Bond lady seducing Bond. Er... never mind. :P

Babs is clearly in love with Daniel. Look her at in the photo. Looks like they just got married. She's never gonna get rid of him. He's stuck with the role for the rest of his life. Heh. "This is my final film." "No, Daniel, please stay for me!" "Oh okay, Babs, I'll stay just for you."

  • Apologies if already covered, but just noticed some additional crew announcements on 007.com

'Written by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns with Cary Joji Fukunaga and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, other members of the creative team are; Director of Photography Linus Sandgren, Editor Tom Cross and Elliot Graham, Production Designer Mark Tildesley, Costume Designer Suttirat Larlarb, Supervising Stunt Coordinator Olivier Schneider, 2nd Unit Stunt Coordinator Lee Morrison and Visual Effects Supervisor Charlie Noble.'

Forgive me if this was already posted:

Broccoli is not thinking about the next 007. She wants Craig as long as possible:

All Babs has to do is drive the money Trump to Craigs apartment in NY and he will say yes.

Dali Benssalah looks like he could be a really cool assassin, possibly related to Malek's character?

I still fear that Rami Malek is too young and physically slight to play a convincing Bond villain. I also note that the last time a young Oscar-winning actor was cast in a Bond film it was Christopher Walken in AVTAK. Not a great precedent. Halle Berry and Christoph Waltz are two further examples of the Oscar curse. But Javier Bardem was a happy exception, so maybe Malek will follow suit?

Have you seen any of Malek's films?

Did think of the "new 007" thing when watching this clip the first time. The David Dencik clip also has a comment that's open for open for interpretation ("…and I feel like I am working for the Pentagon."). Might be nothing though.

Not only is the shaping up to be a great James Bond movie, but one of the best ensemble pieces in a while. Skyfall and Spectre had good actors, but the James Bond films have always been special because of all the great characters one film can present and it seems like we're going to be getting quite a few of them :D
