It still in my top 10 & Tim being my favorite of all but to be fair LTK was neither critical nor box office success so I can understand why no one mentioned it.
Something tells me they'll go with the Legend of Zorro approach:
-Bond returns to help Felix.
-Madeleine, furious, leaves.
-Bond beds Paloma and (maybe) Nomi.
-When the dust is settled, he goes back with Madeleine who accepts him as he is.
My bet/wish regarding Madeleine is that she leaves him when Leiter comes and Bond accepts the job. Then he is free as a bird.
Since production is going to be getting into full gear, I hope now we'll be getting more consistent news and tidbits about the movie.
Did you all forget Bond left his job for her??
I'd prefer that. Keeping her as the main Bond girl would lend weight to her role as Bond's way out of the Vesper tunnel.
She does look masculine a bit. I'd rather have a "full" Bond girl, whom Bond beds. I just have difficulties imagining her as one.
Also, that haircut. It might bring upon some unfavorable Jinx comparisons...
This image disagrees with you. ;-)
Yes, I think they should at least somewhat stick to this. Bond could, of course, sleep with someone as part of his cover should the plot dictate that he be undercover at any stage. However, I don't think they'd bring Madeleine back to piss all over her. I especially don't think that Fukanaga would do that. His female characters are always quite strongly written, and I think he'll build on most of the few interesting aspects of Madeleine from SP.
That's Lea.
I actually just Google imaged her and I am surprised as she can look very beautiful. I really think it's that darn haircut and those darn clothes! It's like trying to convince someone that Connery was the greatest Bond by showing him pictures of Zardoz.
As long as she's not a ditz.
I stand corrected. :)
They said a extensive portion of the film will take place in Jamaica

- I don't really know what I'm supposed to do, but I think there are some action scenes.
- They don't tell me that much. It's like working for MI6 for real, everything is secret.
Sadly, I think you're right. It's looking very much like another rerun of Jinx, but this time Bond's female counterpart is working for our own MI6 and not the CIA and is less glamorous to boot.
I agree and I'm thrilled with Ana, but from what I've heard, in March they still hadn't the Bond girl. And I think it's quite obvious that Lashana will do the Lupita Nyong'o rumored role.
Last hour incorporations. Not saying this is a bad thing, let's remember Eva Green.
I still reckon Mads might be working for the family firm and betray Jimmy B.
She's not down there with Grace Jones but she's no Halle or Naomie.
