Craig has 100% been injured. The news is everywhere. It would not surprise me if this were the reason they finished filming in Jamaica much sooner than planned. Btw, only 2 weeks filming in Jamaica, not to mention without any set piece? Is that really it? After all that hype?

They hava a great director and a great writer (Waller-Bridge) working on Bond 25 right now, but the script is a mess and Craig is injured. For the sake of Bond 25 and the future of the franchise they should suspend filming for a few months and delay the release date to late 2020. I would much rather watch a GREAT Bond film one and a half years from now than a bad Bond film one year from now.

I'm not saying that he's not , but as far as " The news is everywhere" that has little meaning since ALL reports use the single, unverified, story in The Sun as a source.

Also, If shooting at Pinewood was/is scheduled to begin at the end of this week then the Jamaica shoot wrapped as planned and not earlier.

Who cares if he's been injured - sorry Danny - he's done it before; he's got the best people on it. Don't milk it like M:I did with Cruise. It's too soon. Cmon Daniel, show Cruise who's the man and don't halt the filming.

Lol, I think Cruises ankle was snapped; Harrison Ford also broke a leg in his final Star Wars.

This injury is meant to have happened last week while Craig was in Jamaica.
Yesterday Wright was in Pinewood and looked like the production was still motoring along.
Waller-Bridge didn’t mention anything about production stalling during the Baftas on Sunday.

Plus, a few pages back a board member mentioned that Craig was snapped in NY over the weekend.

Sorry but I really don’t think that production has stalled and really won’t believe it until it’s confirmed by a more reputable source than an English newspaper.

A helicopter company (Nord Helikopter)has applied for permission to close the air space over the Atlantic Road in Møre og Romsdal 5th to 14th June for shooting scenes for Bond 25.

They will be using two helicopters, one for camera equipment and one for people and other equipment, and as backup.According to NRK, there will probably also be shot scenes in Rauma.

Whoa terrific news, I hope they shoot some action there.

Yeah, upon reflection, I think this is the most likely scenario. The injury - if it did happen - didn't happen yesterday. It seems like old news already, in comparison with the updates from Norway and Wright's presence in Pinewood.

This "injury report from The Sun has taken on a life of it's own; countless sites are reporting it and that filming has been suspended, all with The Sun report as the source. . I'm skeptical of the report and think that the seriousness of the injury is being exaggerated to sensationalize the story.
@peter @ColonelSun do either of you have any insight into this?

Yes I was just told that he is 100% injured but it’s not serious and was told minor delay in filming.

The amout of BS stories about Craig and this production is staggering. I just saw a new article in a cheap german tabloid that Rami Malek and Daniel Craig supposedly hate each other, based on nothing but speculation obviously.
It's like every tabloid has a hard-on for this movie. Which ultimately is just free advertising.

unfortunately, one could argue we're the ones that add fuel to the tabloid fire since we're sitting here talking about it.

Craig twisted his ankle. Minor impact on the shooting schedule. More time to get things right. Move along.

Have Craig and Malek even had a chance to meet in person? I suppose they have, but it's not like they've had a lot of time together given Malek's Mr. Robot schedule, etc.

It was fascinating to watch how countless outlets used a sensationalized, exaggerated story from a tabloid to verify a story; it took on a life of its own with each site adding it's own spin.

I'm surprised this whole tabloid B.S. hasn't exploded to the point the film is now delayed until 2021 while Craig recovers from having his entire leg amputated. Bond will have a CGI leg for the rest of filming.

There is an element of truth to that, however I'd argue that the majority of us are hopeful of the story being utter tosh, whereas The Sun is aiming towards the folk of Facebook comment sections and Twitter threads who revel in failure.

I agree, many of the comments here were skeptical. Time to move on.

It appears as though both Jeffrey Wright and Billy Magnussen are in likely in studio shooting their scenes. Does this fit with your understanding of accommodating Craig's recovery? @peter @ColonelSun

    You could be right.

If Craig got injured while filming in Jamaica, then they might be going back there later in the year to finish up. Is that possible?

They did leave Jamaica earlier than expected, so perhaps that was the reason.

And the same doctor also treated some football player earlier, in case someone still did not catch that. Incredible!
