Let me propose an opinion on the state of affairs.

If it's 2019, it won't be Craig. Imho.

If it's 2018, then he's more likely to be back.

    I'm leaning more towards 2018 than 2019.
    This.

Let's take something into account here. Craig has said a numerous occasions that he'll do the job as long as he is physically fit enough to do the stunts. Let's face it, the man isn't getting any younger. He's no Tom Cruise, and I don't expect him to wait around until EON is ready.

    If it's 2018, it'll be Craig.
If it's 2019, his return is a possibility, bit an unlikely one.

Any later, and it'll be Bond #7.

    Nothing to see here.

B25 is in development, work is ongoing, but we're not in pre-production.

Rog looked damn good at 48. Better than Craig imho, even if he wasn't built like him.

He looked past his prime by TSWLM in my opinion.

Absurd. Rog was pushing it in AVTAK but looked fantastic up until then. Rog always looked a lot younger than his years.

I'm not Moore's biggest fan, but he looked younger than his age up to, and including MR, and looked his age in FYEO and OP. AVTAK is when his look becomes a problem.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one. I thought he looked great up to and until MR in 1979 (at which point he was 51). By FYEO (53) he started to lose credibility in some scenes.

Ha. I'm guessing you're not 55 or anywhere near that age!

If I'm looking as good as that at 55 I will be more than happy!

The man looks perfectly fine to me (although that is a far from flattering photo from that era), and yes, I'd be very grateful if I can look that good at 50.

It seems like you're cherry-picking the most unflattering stills from his tenure.

It's the shot they use on the blu-ray dvd.

I see. I believe they must have used that photo to highlight Bach's substantial assets rather than Moore's good looks. Btw, some of the blu ray cover photo choices over the years have honestly been horrid. I've not been happy with their choices on that front.

Yes, certain pictures of Rog make him look old, but there are parts of FYEO where he still looks the part. Octopussy was questionable and AVTAK was a downright mistaken, but that doesn't change the fat that Rog looked damned good for his age. Craig is lacking in this regard. He still managed to look good in SPECTRE, but he was pushing it.

According to @RC7 we're not in pre-production. If he indeed has the scoop on B25 then why are we getting these brow raising articles? Something has to be happening, but what? And if things are indeed happening, it must be known by SOMEONE whether Craig is returning or not. NEEDING ANSWERS! I'm going crazy!

Calm down. They haven't gone from "no word" straight into pre-production, think about it.

Yea Roger didn't look old until AVTAK. Even then it didn't bother me

Well, we're not in the know, so no harm in speculating until the powers that be feel compelled to share some concrete information with us plebe minions. It keeps us going while we anxiously await the next entry.

There was farcical speculation a while back that there might not even be a B25. I guess we can safely say there will be, if there was any doubt.

They won't ever stop making bond films I however wouldn't mind seeing some one else own bond because I don't feel that Barbara is doing enough for the franchise she just kind of seems bored and not a real bond fan. To get good films you need a bond fan at the helm

@RC7 is no insider, unless he knows people at EON. Either that, or he likes the attention.

She is a real fan but ,yes i agree, she has been involved a long time and maybe a change is needed, including MGW...if only to get the Bond films back on the 2 year cycle again.

I've never claimed I'm an insider. I work in the TV/Film industry and now and again I'm privy to certain information. I don't actively seek it, nor do I ever fabricate it. I'm aware of certain little tidbits which I won't divulge. All I've ever said on here is that B25 is in development - primarily to ease the hysteria of some of those who think/thought it was dead. Speculate away.
