IDK why but I have this feeling that if Craig does a 5th Bond he is gonna be like how Connery was in YOLT just not wanting to be there and feeling that making this 5th Bond is more of a chore than an enjoyment.

Can anyone see this happening with Craig?

Personally, I don't want Jany Temime to make a comeback. Bond's suits are getting tighter and smaller the more we advance through the films. I do miss Lindy Hemming.

She's not the one pushing for or insisting on Bond's tight suits though.

You're right. It's Craig, and he has seriously lousy taste in suits. They are way too tight and years from now, they will look even worse. Bond's look should be conservative and timeless. It's a shame, Craig has a good build and can look very good in a well cut suit, but the tight fit in SF and SP stinks.

I couldn't agree more. If they were the last suits in the world, I still wouldn't take either of them that were on display in Skyfall and Spectre.

Already happened. He looked bored out of his mind in Spectre.

We can all agree that his best acting performance was in Skyfall.

If Craig does 25, I would hope he is smart enough to demand a first rate thriller of a script and a great director with a good track record for action and character work. Mendes had zero background skill in action and integrating the action work in SP and in particular SF where it sometimes just seemed tacked on to the script was not great. Mendes was a drama guy. He's smart and learned on the job, as SP's action work integrated into the story line better than it did in SF, but still, the action work across both films, still sometimes for me seemed bloated and tacked on. The train scene in SF was a great example of a huge waste of effort and $. Craig or no Craig in 25, I hope we get some smarter choices by EON, starting with the script.

I, too, miss Lindi. The suits in QOS were absolutely perfect.

Yes, they were, but that was Louise Frogley, not Lindy Hemming.

I think his best acting was in the first two, but he definitely nailed Bond with SKYFALL.
I am inclined to agree after further watches of all of them.

Yes, that's right. Lindy is great, but Louise got the cuts just right for Craig's build in QoS imho. That tux in CR though...that was impressive.

Can't agree. Craig was at his best in Quantum of Solace.

I think CR was his best performance, i mean that torture scene alone pretty much settles it.

Agree. He should have been nominated for an Oscar (not win, just nom'ed) for that scene alone. I don't think any other Bond could have acted that scene as skillfully. It kind of nailed Craig as a very good Bond, blond hair and all.

Uh huh. The cut of his suits in QoS were impeccable and I have no idea why on earth he decided it'll look great if he wore suits that if he farted he'd rip a hole in the seat of his trousers (pants for you yanks).

That scene in the desert in SP just before he walks into the meteor room was near embarrassing imho. The suit pant was just way too tight, and I wasn't specifically looking at his bum. It was just noticeable.

Must say, that one looked particularly good and not for the display of his arse. I loved the suit.
  • Jane Temime: “That’s a nice position to be in. And, if I’m asked to work on the next Bond movie, I’ll have a new 007 to dress and that is too exciting to resist.”

Either it's a new Bond actor as everyone keeps saying OR she's just referring to a Bond movie. Every movie is a different dress so maybe she means she has another 007 film to give it her go....which is what I think.

Craig looked spectacular in every suit and cloth he was wearing in Spectre, but I give it to you that this is a matter of taste.

Craig finally hit it 100% performance wise as James Bond. Only Connery was better in Bond 1-4.

Craig didn't look bored. He had fun all the way, and walked through the picture with ease and self-confidence galore. He was moving smoothly.

His performance in QOS is second best, closely followed by CR.
In SF he looked exhausted, old and tired.

But that was the point though. It was done intentionally, including bags under the eyes etc. Until he cleaned up (or was cleaned up by MP in Macau). Then I'd say he looked like a $mm bucks.

He looked exhausted. But, his acting performance was the most stretched one in Skyfall. Personally, I didn't find anything special about his acting in either Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace. If you ask me, he was just walking around in these, barely shaking a facial expression. But, he was a very good leading man in the latter two, as he was in Spectre, in which I still don't get why do we call him "bored" in the act.

I think all of Craig's suits have been awesome. The whole slim fit thing is a matter of taste/preference. I for one love them, and that may be because I'm in my early 20's & they look more youthful.

And again, Craig did not look bored in this film. If anything he looked more bored in Skyfall when he was "enjoying death". He was enjoying himself more in this film.

    what Jason said.

Reg Temime, I also believe, she meant, a new Film, a new experience with whoever will be Bond. Daniel or someone else

And there you have it. Bond needs to be looking like a man who knows how to dress not like some dad wearing his teenage son's special graduation suit.

Which, interestingly, is exactly how it appears to me. Great for someone like the new Q, but not good for Bond.

I thought for the most part the suits were fit nicely, but Bond walking along the Mexican rooftop really showcased that his suit was too tight.

Can you imagine? The furor every time a new 'Jane' was cast? We'd be going crazy here debating if she was 'worthy'.

I like Craig as an actor and as Bond. He also seems intelligent and mostly unpretentious for a big shot actor. But..... he sometimes seems to think he is still 18 years old and dresses like it. Badly. Given his age, he can look really ridiculous and most of his recent Bond suits were noticeably awful. The sports clothes were mostly ok. It was those awful tight suits. He's probably become the 10 ton gorilla on Bond sets these days and nobody said no to him on stuff like this.

Oh man, it's so sad to see these pictures. These suits were perfect. He looked so elegantly Bond in them. The new suits are so ill fitting, they are an embarrassment.
