In case you guys were curious here is the new "Commander" Seamaster from Omega: https://www.omegawatches.com/watches/seamaster/diver-300-m/commanders-watch/product/

Not sure what I make of it...

I do. That "NATO" strap is ugly and would have been fit on a 10 dollar watch in the 70'ies. Pure and Simple

I know a lot of Bond fans are very much into Omega for 007. But I'm thinking it may be time to move to a different brand. Go back to Rolex perhaps? I prefer Moore's various Seiko's to this.

What on earth are you on about?
A Bond film. It was a Bond film.

    Just a Bond film.

Looks like it was made by Tommy Hilfiger...

Well Bond 25 isn't coming out any time soon - maybe find something better to do?

Remember the good old days when these films came out every two years like clockwork? Just imagine, by that timetable we would be looking forward to a new 007 adventure in about four months. Sigh. How times change.

We'd be looking at Craig's 7th Bond film at the end of 2018 on the old timetable.

Instead by the end of 2018 we'll be lucky if they even have a script for his 5th.

Can it ever be finished? There is not enough in the footage to prove or disprove what happened so all we can ever do is throw out increasingly outrageous hypotheses that defy the laws of phsyics.

    Maybe it was a wormhole?

Maybe it was the 22nd James Bond film and not the 25th

Next you'll be calling Michelangelo "slowpoke". The Sistine Chapel ceiling took 4 years, that's about as long as Bond 25 should be. It's only a waste of time if they don't deliver.

You're seriously trying to compare the Sistine Chapel to a Bond movie? Lol wow.

Whats more depressing is how keen some people seem to be to embrace a 4 year gap. When it gets to 10 years between films will people still be backing EON and saying they need a rest?

Keep in mind I dislike the breaks between films as much as you

in all honestly in a perfect world the Craig Era would look like this

Casino Royale 2007 (honestly they should of released the film January 2007 how could they have missed a year that screams 007)
    Quantum of Solace 2008
The Property of a Lady 2010 (directed and co written by Tony Gilroy)
    Skyfall 2012
The Death Collector 2014 (here we meet the head of Quantum whether it's Mr White or a new character I could care less)
    The Hildebrand Rarity 2016
A Whisper of Hate 2018 (the end of Quantum and that saga)

and then give us a spectre trilogy with Michael Fassbender (my preference is directed by Mcquarrie and co written by him but meh)
    Spectre 2020
    Risico 2022
    Blofield 2024

Like I said if we are going to play Monday morning quarterback sorry Spectre should of been introduced with a new actor and Quantum should of just been Craig's Spectre and had a series of 6-7 films to develop and be destroyed similar but no exact to Smersh in the early fleming novels.

but that is playing Monday Morning Quaterback as it stands MGM has no interest in a distribution deal EON can't move without them and are trying to keep the bond name a float by throwing it to whatever company can make it the most public (as the gambiling licence and glu showcase) which is a shame but meh Could I do better then EON maybe maybe not but I am not them and they are not me I don't live in a perfect world I live in this one... at least I have new adventures of MacGyver to enjoy Season 2 starts 9/29

I think he means with the benefit of hindsight so I guess the civilised equivalent would be something like 'Carra and Gary Nev at full time'?

Please folks if we're going to use sporting analogies please make sure they are footballing ones.

Well my translation is only a guess. I'm glad to say I barely speak a word of NFL apart from 'The Refrigerator'. Pretty sure he's the greatest player of all time or something.
