George Almond's Bond Art
I've recently read the exclusive interview with George Almond on the excellent 'Artistic Licence Renewed' website and am completely knocked out by his work.
There is a link on ALR at the end of the piece that takes you to George's portfolio and it's well worth a visit.
Personally, it's not his cover art that I particularly like albeit, they are good. It's his drawings of Bond and Bond characters that I adore.
I particularly like his interpretation of Bond in NYC of M behind his desk and of Bond in the Aston DB111.
Maybe I'm the last aficionado on earth to discover his stuff and if so, forgive me for posting. If not, get there as fast as your little hands can type — it's great!
