    Is it actually entertaining though? Overall I found Royale kind of flat. Surprising considering the sets and the soundtrack.

    For me, CR 67 represents wasted opportunity and wasted talent. I have often thought Niven could have easily played a government official. Any number of Bond villains could have been played by Welles. And Sellers could have played a variety of roles seriously.

    Excluding age and when they passed away, I can see these actors in the following roles.

    Niven as Strangways
    Welles as Hugo Drax
    Sellers as Saunders

    It should be mentioned that Burt Barcaracs 'The look of love' is an excellent song and an actual plus point of the film.
