    One year have passed since the events at Utøya and Oslo. Unbelievable...
    Rest in peace to all of them who didn't make it, and I send warm thoughts to the survivors of the nightmare.. <3 <3

    This is so sad, and still so unbelivable that this could happen. How one man can damage a country so badly, and kill young people. I don't know what to say more then I am still very shocked from this.

    Our minds were so much focused on Colorado it's easy to forget today was also the anniversary of another dreadful tragedy one year ago in Oslo. I don't know quite what gets into the minds of these individuals who do these damn atrocities, makes me quite mad sometimes. RIP to the people who lost their lives today one year ago

    Seriously though.....Colorado guy sounds like a Breivik wannabe , dressed the same way etc.

    Can't believe the woman who survived Toronto massacre only to be killed in Colorado one , I mean what are the odds :/

    Murder everywhere in the world. Genocide by Buddhists on a minority tribe in Burma. Beheadings, rape and torture by Buddhists! The normal news channels have ignored it because of the good news of the games in London, the YouTube news footage is horrific. Please email or challenge the Burma govt to stop yet another mass murder in front of our eyes.

    I dont think theres much that came out in the trial substantiating the fact that Breivik was particularly active within the EDL.

    Strange how when its an Islamic attack the perpetrator is a loner who has a perveted take on Islam and the majority of muslims are not to blame but its perfectly acceptable for the press to propgate the theory that an entire group are terrorists due to the actions of one nutter who has very tenuous links to them.

    Naturally the EDL attracts some very dubious types and I'm not denying that many of them are doubtless racists. However look on youtube and find the EDL guy on Newsnight just after the attacks when the BBC made a predictable and cowardly attempt to humiliate him (similar to the public badger baiting of Nick Griffin on question Time). The guy absolutely destroyed Paxman and his childish attempts to get a rise out of him. The bloke is something of a chav and I dont agree with most of what he says but he has my respect for daring to speak his mind in totalitarian modern Britain. He has a point of view and last time I looked he his entitled to voice it as long as doesnt incite violence against others.

    If you had just branded the whole of Islam as 'war mongering terrorists' you would be expecting a visit from the police forgotmyusername but I guess as they have the word 'English' in their name you are right they are all racists. Thats all the proof required these days.

    Again, it's our left-leaning media here in the UK, @TheWizardOfIce. As a Dutch friend of mine said to me recently, Hitler is bad as he is a fascist and fascism is bad/evil. Stalin is not so bad as he is Communist, but he killed far more people than Hitler and Mussolini combined. Stalin is not demonised as much as Hitler is but you can expect nothing else from socialist sympathisers in the Press. The BBC is completely left-leaning and so has a built-in bias against conservatism/Toryism/unionism and at the other end of the right-wing spectrum fascism. I'm not a fascist supporter or sympathiser in any weay. I believe solely in democratic conservative and unionist politics, but I think this is something worth while highlighting.

    Two years on, and still as horrible. My thoughts and prayers goes out to our neighbours in the west!
