Since the game has less than a day remaining, I just want to say: As my first experience with an elimination game, this has been much more exciting than I expected it to be. We have three outstanding and worthy choices. Bravo. =D>

Ditto. I'm really hoping Casino can grab the gold.

Rest assured the 007 main titles are in the good hands with Daniel Kleinman for some time to come. His work takes the essence of Maurine Binder's classic imagery and enhances it to a new standard of its own.

Good ranking overall; QoS and DN would be higher on my list (and SF would be top 3), but I can't complain too much.

I am suprised that Dr No be that low and Thunderball so high.
Also i hoped/expect Yolt credit after Spy or other way around.
AVTAK is way to dark for me and i wil at in list with Octopussy, TLD and LTK as one of my last favorites with LTK less worse of them. So i wil at LTK earlier on 14 and AVTAK on 23. For Your Eyes Only is also not realy favorite of me, the dark era already start there.. The Man With The Golden Gun i wil at earlier on place of LALD.

My sentiments exactly, FoxRox! My Top 3 would be: 1) Skyfall, 2) GoldenEye, 3) Casino Royale

AVTAK six spots above DN is just ridiculous.

To quote the man himself: "Shocking....positively shocking"

The fact that a Maurice Binder didn't win, and that many of them were eliminated as early as they were, is to me a travesty.

Binder should not have won, because this was not a sentimentality contest. Kleinman's credits are most of the time above the rest, and thanks to advances in graphics look so much better than older titles.

Maurice Binder may have invented the projection of and onto female shapes, which became iconic for the Bond films, yet in retrospect only a few of his titles stand up to the best of Kleinman's. I think the final result is perfectly OK and would have given the top three shared 1st place. And that is a huge honor for Binder's TSWLM.

I much prefer Binder's title because of his use of colour, that is just so pleasing to the eye and sensual. There is just something so calming and endearing about his work. His stunning visuals are so simple, yet so emotive, effective. His best work is timeless (Thunderball, Spy, YOLT).

I very much like Kleinman's titles, too, but they do feel cluttered and the CGI women sometimes put me off. It's all about the silhouettes!

To say it is merely "sentimental" does not wash- I was born in the 90s, yet I prefer the work of Binder.

Of the Binder ones, I would have gone with Thunderball, too. I like the minimalist approach here, as opposed to, say, Dr. No, which to me seemed all over the place (and looked like Television to boot).
But as it is, I agree with @zebrafish in that these newer sequences mostly look better by comparison, and that if I had voted for the older ones, it would have been out of sentimentality.

I wonder, though, how many votes went to title sequences because the voters liked the movies so much.

Ditto. Goldeneye was right on the edge for me....after that every one has felt wanting in this respect.

With the more traditional ones, its more than just a title sequence. I find myself looking forward to the mini spectacle while the more contemporary ones to me are "just another title sequence".

Binder has his moments but most of his title sequences are garbage quite frankly. With the exception of the beginning of DN, FRWL, TB, OHMSS, TSWLM, he brought nothing new in litterally almost 20 years. I'm glad people don't have nostalgia goggles towards him.
